To cut down on clutter, the forum will delete quotes when you quote an entire post. It tells you this.

Why? You will still have dps getting tank trinkets and you whining and moaning about it.

Yes it is surely better than personal loot with trade restrictions, however I prefer a loot system that doesn’t punish class diversity, and have a loot interface so you don’t need to keep whispering to people to ask if they need the loot or not.
And this aswell 
set your loot specs to what loot you want to drop with personal loot.
