TMvSS should stay a brawl its too lagy and awful IMO
Korrakâs Revenge (aka old-school AV) has a lot of really cool features. I hope the Blizz team brings some of the old features back into the new AV. Things like Iceblood Graveyard having two ramps to the flag, vs only having one way into the flag, NPCs on the roads (elites, normal, etcâŚ).
My feedback is similar to someone elseâs around Ashran. The fact that killing the tower mage takes 1/3 of the reinforcements is stupid and needs to be changed. 50 was fine when the reinforcements were higher, but now if you lose the tower mage, its a deficit you basically canât recover from.
I love the fact that there is no time limit. This makes people more inclined to learn and pursue the objectives.
First let me say ty for even looking at something in the pvp world. seriously.
second PLEASE do not add damage against players by people in demoâs I dont think a PvE mount should be destroying players. Just my 2c.
Korrakâs Revenge
- Commanders Duffy and Karl Philips have significantly less health than their Horde counterparts.
- Dying in the Hall of the Stormpike as an Alliance player does not register you being in the battleground, so you are not teleported to the nearest graveyard, nor can you click âReturn to graveyardâ. This makes defense difficult as you need to run out in order to then press the button to get sent to a GY.
- Lokâholar the Ice Lord deals significantly more damage than Ivus the Forest Lord due to âSwell of Soulsâ. The Swell of Souls ability should be cosmetic only or given to Ivus as well (when it reaches 10 stacks Lok can one shot people).
- War Marshals (Alliance) that report for duty after a tower is destroyed have 100% less health than the Warmasters (Horde) that report for duty after a bunker is destroyed.
Wintergrasp really needs to be looked at as well. 90% of the time whichever side wins the Battle at Sunken Ring wins the match. One initial battle like that deciding the outcome is piss poor design.
Mr. dev person,
The glaive throwers are still too weak in my opinion. With gear-creep/power-creep, as players become more powerful with increasing item level, they just donât last long at all.
Maybe itâs time for another buff to them? How about another +20% health?
281,000 health is nothing⌠even 415-420 people in welfare gear seem to have no problems bursting thru that (with cooldowns popped, of course).
281,000 health just doesnât cut it anymore considering many players are now running around in 440+ item level gear.
Their damage is fine, itâs just that their healthpool is âlagging behindâ the ever increasing âpower-creepâ of geared players. If that makes sense.
Any updates, news, etc⌠on Epic BGs Devs., or Community Managers
Yeah, what gives?
These bgs/bugs are still not fixed, seems like the devs afk.
As a side note, the devs should put Southshore vs Tarren Mill back in the game and make it available 24/7 imo. Just âcopy-pasteâ it into the list of epic battlegrounds and call it a day.
More optimal for Alliance?? Have you even played AV lately? Well you got your wish. Not satisfied with dominating all other bgs in the game. Horde had to dominate AV too, and now we have a situation where we win AV all the time with no challenge.
The game is being spoiled because human nature means if you are losing all the time what is the point? So make a horde toon or faction transfer, is the only way to alleviate that problem.
Yeah but youâll get a blue reply in the customer service forum right away because money talks.
Mr. dev person,
Just a timely bump and reminder that there are still bugs/exploits that need fixing, donât forget about us plz
I outlined a few here:
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/on-going-bugs-in-battlegrounds-attention-bg-devs/381019
Recently captured the Priest vehicle healing exploit âin actionâ and on camera:

Shown here are two different Priests using the âGreater Healâ exploit to heal and top off vehicles.
From the chat snippet shown (names redacted):
if Blizzard really believes in âplay nice, play fairâ then they will fix this. If not? Then they will lose credibility.
Oh and also, Southshore vs Tarren Mill should be added to the rotation and made available 24/7 imo.
Thatâs all for now.
I noticed in WG if you shoot a RP GG at a tank max distance and they turn around and drive the other way the missile will do no damage. Not sure if intended but annoying⌠also the priest heal bug is annoying af.
In Korrakâs Revenge they have increased the mob density and number of mobs with stealth detection in the Horde base. Also, land mines can no longer be disarmed. This makes it even harder for Alliance stealthies to sneak into the Horde base.
Changes in the Alliance base are not noticeable.
Iâm not sure why, given the already poor win rate for Alliance, that they would make changes to make it even worse so close to the end of the event.
Personally Iâm going to take a break from Epic BGs. Still way to buggy regardless of all the feedback provided here, and in-game over the past few months / year, queue times for Horde are almost 20, to 30 mins long, etcâŚ, etc⌠Not fun at the moment. Best of luck to those who stick with them though. Maybe things will change at some point.
Meh⌠Iâm still playing them, itâs probably my main source of entertainment in retail. Iâve seen you in a couple games, by the way
Honestly there isnât much to do in the game at the moment since most of the 8.2 stuff will be irrelevant in a few weeks anyway.
Right now itâs either grinding essences or PvP - obviously PvP is more fun
Speak of the devil, I just now lost an Isle of Conquest game to the vehicle healing exploit on a lowbie Alliance alt
Everything was going well, until the siege engine came out. Then I watched as the siege engine kept dropping to 60-70% before getting healed back up to 100%⌠over and over Because we couldnât kill the siege engine, our door went down fast.
This exploit needs to be fixed, it kinda ruins the experience for players that just want a fair/normal match.
Because Iâve seen this exploit used by both Alliance and Horde teams, it seems âword of mouthâ is getting out about this exploit. Thatâs not good.
Their inability to roll out simple fixes for stuff like this tells me that when they cut staff, they cut it way way too thin. I suspect that if you go to the WoW part of the blizzard offices youâll see a lot of mothballed cubicles and a few sad people who are mostly just focused on keeping the servers from crashing.
Of course we can only guess whatâs going on over there, but it definitely seems like the PvP devs in charge of this particular thread have been afk for a while now
