Just before the last bridge before the small mound there is a spot, I've seen countless horde use it and turrets don't reach. Alliance do yell GLAIVES! when we see it used and 90% of the time we send something to stop it.

Didn't know that. I'll check it out, but depending on how defensible it is, might not be that great. Also, you guys never really abandon the docks, if we have it you guys are constantly on that place trying to retake it. I've never even really seen horde glaives get setup before.

It's not good, the alliance can stand on the bottom of the mountain and range your glaive throwers through the mountain. They can also directly exit their east gate and hope into the river right there and nail it. Attempting to go around... well... try it lol.
kinda sounds like IBGY all over again
EDIT: this is about AV

Ally behavior ingame has deteriorated. Not because the changes you guys have made are bad, they are very good. It's because they are playing solidly dumb, I know this gameplay, horde had it for a long time, it's victim mentality.

I don't think you guys are going to get good data about AV unless you do 100% forced merc que for a little while.

It could be a nice weekly ingame event, with bonus honor for winner and losers to promote gameplay.
Would it be possible to add immunity bubbles to the graveyards in AV (like the ones in IOC)?

Good suggestion.
I cannot loot the wolf pelts even if I was killing them from the beginning to the very end.

I've checked with raid leaders and they tell me they cannot make any changes to loot or that there is no option to do so.

So what should I do if I'm the only one working on it?
The gates in IoC seem to be a little too weak now. Most matches I'm in, the gates get destroyed around the ten to fifteen minute mark. Then the last five minutes of the game is racing to kill the other team's commander.

that's my general sense of it as well, gates need slightly more HP

as people seem to be adjusting, from time to time, it feels like the game is devolving towards single-strat setups again, cookie-cutter. I could be wrong, it's just my general senes of it atm

This is fair, there is no way to change loot that I've seen, so it's always set to raid loot even if no one else is around you.

Seeing this as well but I'm not sure buffing the gates further is compelling gameplay. The only thing that would change is gates take an addition 5 minutes to kill - would players do anything differently? The onus to break that monotony is on the players. It doesn't have to be a race - I'm rarely in the enemy keep as I'd rather try prevent the enemy team from killing our general.

I think the generals could do with an honorable defender buff so defense is encouraged, particularly with the gates reducing reinforcements so if people just turtle they can lose a significant chunk.
You should not separate the 40 mans from the 10 and 15 mans. Pvp does not need this. The more you mess with it the worse it gets. When something works leave it alone. It was made like that for a reason.

Simple fix was to let us block 3 battle grounds. Then everyone would have been happy.

Make up your mind.
pst, add Ashran back in :)
Update: AV is back to being a race; any epic feeling has been lost.

Did you guys give up on balancing it and just nerf the NPCs back to former levels, or did Horde decide they didn't want to win by defending at Iceblood any more?
Siege vehicles deal wayy too much damage to players

Must just be you, I been playing a lot on my Alliance toon this week and Alliance is still getting stomped from what I've seen. Alliance holds it's own in IoC though, gotten a few wins in there.

Today I was getting caught up on Horde toon (farming some reps, etc), but after doing my WQ's for the day I decided to do some epic bgs. Surprise surprise... went 3 - 0.

2 wins in AV
1 win in IoC

The NPC's are unchanged, I think what's happening in your games is the Horde casuals/PUGs you are getting grouped up against are simply bad players.

I hope this isn’t true. I hope Blizzard leaves NPC scaling and finally deals with IB choke. It’s not like it hasn’t been a problem in the past. It should have been dealt with when Scorched Earth highlighted the problem.
Seems like the cookie cutter games are coming back to Epic Battlegrounds. The games aren't really lasting that long anymore. There is a lot of ignoring enemy factions going on.

Such a disappointment. I was really enjoying the longer epic games.

Agreed. You can't do much to counter demos with tower cannons because 2 shots will take them out by a demo, so one demo can constantly fire on a tower and suppress all 3 cannons/players. You can't stand on the side of the fence and shoot them either, because the actual demo explosion goes THROUGH the wall of the fence and will kill anyone standing on it. Same reason a demo gunner can fire at the bottom of the cannon placement and kill people standing on tower.

The airship damage is not that much better, it's about 40k per hit, with 5-6 cannons firing will kill most players outright not in the bubble or indoors. Don't really understand why the vehicle damage done to cannons, gates, vehicles can't be tuned separately from the player damage, there is very little actual PvP in this BG in the current state.

I wonder if word got out that AV was getting fun again and all those who only know how to race to noob hill started joining the Epic queues again. Maybe if it sucks for them a little bit, they will go away again. I hope.
It'll be nice to get a update from Phalanx on Tuesday. If the race is returning, AV must be fixed asap.
