AV and maybe other matches can already last like 40 mins or so. IS THAT NOT LONG ENOUGH?
The real reason is wasting peoples time and getting them to play longer.
How about you just make the maps better?
For instance:
BETTER MAPS, BETTER INTERFACE, BETTER OPTIONS. NOT LONGER TIME.
Not change a format to make them take longer. Because that's baloney. Rubbish to be exact. The idea is more time for different strategies? Laughable! Because 40 random people are really gonna come up with plans on exactly what to do. A certain % will, and that is the random part AND they mostly won't be talking about it.
