I think having it as an empower type spell would be the best way to turn this into an exciting button.

Making it an empower spell would just double down on what makes it feel bad. Monk is a hypermobile class that dashes around. The last thing it needs is an empower cast time slowing it down even further.

Fair point, i was just viewing it as a very boring button, regardless of cast time or not.
If they remove cast time, it’s just a lesser faeline stomp. Why even have it?
Making it an empower spell could open up interesting options for it.

Imo it should be an instant cast skillshot that explodes for a chunk of aoe damage on the first target hit. It’s also a prime example of an ability that should have lots of cosmetic glyphs.
Looks good so far. I am happy it to see we can go caster or fist with the build.
I’m WW & I’m excited for this, always loved the pandaren lore & being able to summon all 4 celestials will look cool aesthetically… certainly looks more fun than the Shado-Pan spec.
This is the first expansion I no longer want to play mistweaver as an alt. Essence font is such a basic part of the gameplay.
