Are you having luck with this? Max level hunters, my pet either “…doesn’t like…” the food or the food is too low level to be consumed by Feed Pet. I’m using Hounds, Wolves, Cats and the Beast Lore has meat as a common. But I can’t get any of the meat food to work with this, really, I can’t get any of the food at all to work.

Hello, are you playing Retail?(Modern WOW) If you are, then I can tell you that in my experience, My carnivore, Mammal type pets all accept meat or a prepared meat dish for dinner, provided it is obtained no earlier than the last expansion from the current expansion I’m playing.
Day to day food from bygone days don’t have enough health points to do much for our pets OR us.
So shouldn’t Rib Stickers from the TWW cooking book work as a type of meat food for Feed Pet? I’m getting the error “your pet doesn’t like that food”. I’m using beast lore on the pet to make sure they have meat in the diet line of food.

I am having the same issue. Same pet, same food as always. Wolf eating Basically Beef with no luck either. I know I don’t have to feed him, but he’s such a good boy! This only started this week.

I can’t say I recognize the cook- book, maybe I never saw it or it’s something I’ve forgotten. Something I haven’t forgotten is Feeding my pet the same Honey-glazed Haunches I ate for a Crit buff, During BfA.
I haven’t fed my pet, i don’t think, since the reset, I’m going to take a quick look [[[[later]]]]] Semi-quik. I have the same problem. The meat I offer my pet is too low a level to interest them. I offered food that restores a higher amount the its total health … Thank you both for pointing this out. I am putting a ticket, likely it will be the best move for now. Thankyou both.
