Since guilds are allowed to be cross faction can the guild finder be updated to allow searching across factions? This would allow players to invite their cross faction alts to the same guild if no other players were online, or if it were a personal guild as many players have set up.
I attempted workarounds using communities with the guild invite link, but as soon as I login to the character that was invited to the community the invite goes away (says I left the community).
You want gemeral or ingame suggestion feature the dev dont vome here for feesback suggeations or bugs.
Hmm, that is very odd. I was just able to invite a lvl 10 Vulpera alt on Arthas to my Alliance guild (Smurf Hunters) here on Bloodscalp. I did place the Vulpera in the Community first and then had my guild leader alt place the guild recruit invite link in the Community chat. My Vulpera was then able to click it without issue and send an invite request, which my guild leader alt accepted.
This was done on same license, so had to log in and out of each alt.
Have you tried again to join the Community with your guild leader alt on the alt that you wish to invite?
I think the best solution is to encourage players to have at least 1 character of each faction with permission to invite. That way, when somebody wants their alt on the other side to be invited, and no one is available at the moment, someone can log over to their alt to do the inviting.
