I just unlocked this recipe yesterday. Is it intended to only be 20 stats for an hour?
That’s only two points higher than the 18 provided from the surprisingly palatable feast.
Other food items use 18/30 as breakpoints for basic/top level.
Was this simply a typo and actually also meant to be 30?
Unfortunately, no. Primary stat food (Str/Agi/Int) has always been on a different scale than secondary stat food (Crit/Haste/Verse/Mastery). You can’t get even get personal food that gives primary stats, only in feasts. The recipe is aptly named: it costs waaaaay more for a very small gain. It is truly only for the gluttonous.
Maybe nerf the surprising palatable feast then? Seems like this item is already DoA for only providing 2 extra stats for x3 the cost.
I too was surprised at the 18/20 break. If it was like the spread on green/blue gems then the feasts would be 16/20. Not that I’m calling for a nerf, because the best feast recipe is also locked behind Court of Harvesters reputation, so good luck to those that didn’t pick Venthyr (I know everyone will get it that wants it “eventually” but Venthyr got an easy head-start).
2 points is almost nothing. Crafting costs for the 18 feast is 1.3k vs the 3.6k for the 20.
I’d rather see the rep locked feast buffed to 30 but if not then the other one needs nerfed or only true tryhards will buy the better one for a very minor bonus.
