Fearmongering phase 2

For everyone making it sound like doomsday is coming, you won’t be able to use flight paths, can’t complete a single quest without getting killed and you will be camped relentlessly… get a grip!

You make it sound like you think people may as well quit because they haven’t hit 60 yet on a pvp server. Plenty of people used to level up on pvp servers before bgs including me, the world is fkn huge and there are still dungeons, plus your faction might have a raid in a zone PROTECTING you from being killed.

People are being so dramatic about phase 2 and it is not warranted at all.
You can still make new characters, you can still level them up in contested territory, you can still farm things, you can still play the game just like in phase 1… calm the hell down!

I applaud your effort in reasoning with the unreasonable but it will fall on deaf ears.

My server has ten times as many people on it as the largest Vanilla servers if not more. You can’t compare the two.

the real threat of phase 2 is queues from all the returning subs

it actually is unreasonable. always, ALWAYS getting ganked by a raider for no reason other then being “red is dead”.

I think the only merit this has is for the servers where there’s disparity of the faction.

As I always said, the difference between a PvE and PvP server is griefing/ganking.

Getting to 60 on a PvP server is a tedious and well earned accomplishment, but whatever side you fall on, whatever level you are, players rolling on those servers knew the risks.

There are plenty of places to level off the beaten path where no 60s will be. BRD and lights hope maybe a bit rough, but thats about it.

Depends on your server, right now on Grobb you have gankers and their alliance alts sitting in Red Ridge, Duskwood etc. It’s not even Phase 2 yet. I’m not really worried but without layering, prime time will be bad for any crowded server. I’m sure some people are questioning why BGs aren’t released yet.

Nothing will stop the sensitive slowflakes from crying about every new update to the game. Just like nothing will stop them from flagging posts that disagree with their delicate point of view. It’s a pathology with these people, it has nothing to do with the game.

Phase 2 is going to remove layering so the amount of people will be the same as a vanilla server.

Can’t get ganked if you only level in instances :^)

I bet once p2 nothing will happen. Not even ques. Everyone will go about their merry way slaying Rag as usual.

I feel sorry for those level 50s trying to run BRD for their bis… I bet the horde are going to set up a blockade all the way from the gate

My server is vastly horde dominated and horde have been camping dungeon entrances for months already. Specific flight paths are also camped. I’ve managed to get two characters to about 60 but I feel that was only because there was no incentive. In my situation leveling after P2 would be borderline impossible as my warlock got ganked by a 60 every 5 minutes or so starting at level 54.

Granted I rolled on a PvP server and did so willingly and would do it again. These are not complaints, just facts. I wouldn’t say everyone is predicting doomsday; in some cases P2 is really just going to be that bad in reality.

Yeah…

What happens for the players on imbalanced servers who don’t have raids protecting them from level 60s?

Blizzard should try to improve faction balance before they release phase 2. If they don’t, faction imbalance is going to get even worse.

Stop with your stupid nitpicking. We get it, you prefer retail. How about you stay there and stop posting on the classic forums.

They would fix whatever faction imbalance that you believe is happening and you would just act like some other thing is game breaking.
Your negativity is toxic.

You don’t believe there are PvP realms with significant faction imbalance?

I’m not talking about 52/48. I’m talking about 60/40 or worse.

If there is, it doesn’t matter. There will always be a problem for people like you.

There will be zones unquestable. The zerg fights will destroy any chance of questing. The camping stuff was never a thing. If someone is camping they will lose honor compared to the zerg.

People seem to forget this game is called World of Warcraft.

Also, their weak. nuff said.
