Fearing Women Doesn't Increase Your I-Level

Y’all have me gobsmacked.

You should have to read some of these posts to your mothers, your girlfriends, your sisters and your wives. Out loud.

If you really disliked WoW’s story telling as much as you say you do, you’d just quit and spare the rest of us.

I think what these guys are really trying to do is make certain players feel less welcome and less valid.

And that alone should disqualify them from the forums and from the game.

Fix your stuff, fellas.

If they ever learned to read I’m sure they’d be very upset by your post.

EDIT: Bahaha some of you actually reported my post to the mod-team who restored it. Eat it.

I feel a majority of the ones fussing about that are the ones who are still in middle school and think that acting like that is appropriate.

It’s just rediculous how many have gotten their nickers in a knot over this.

Oh and before anyone reports me for one of the words I used, it means underwear.

I wish this were right, but I fear some of them are older than that.

i would be mortified if i had to read my posts to my mom, mostly because my posts are all stupid and my mom thinks the internet is a literal creation of satan

Unfortunately this game has an aging playerbase, I would say the average WoW players is probably older than 25… So, yeah, we are likely seeing adults throwing tantrums.

Faerin is a cool character. (I can’t wait to get more lore on the Arathi Empire that we haven’t heard about for 2, 000 years)

People that have problems with Faerin are the ones who think everything put into a video game has to do with something irl that they have issues with.

Imagine how fast someone would be suspended if the script was flipped and some guy made this comment and said that women aren’t capable of reading. I believe in equality and that includes equal punishments.

Which unfortunately makes it worse.

As adults we should be able to control ourselves but if the last few days have proven anything, many cannot.

I do dislike the WoW story as much as I say I do but I enjoy the gameplay enough to ignore the dumpster fire Blizzard calls lore so I keep playing.

It’s a bad story and not worth remembering or even engaging in. It is a stepping stone at the beginning of an expansion. Nothing more, nothing less. I don’t understand why everyone cares on either side. The characters are poorly written. The real lore and world builders at Blizzard are long gone. If I didn’t get a dopamine hit in M+ from, “big numbers go brrrrr,” and a rekindled love of pvp, I would quit.

Nah, just social media. That’s Satan’s biggest trick.

Wait I’m confused, what is everyone mad about this time?

Grummz whines about this sort of crap every day on Twitter, and he’s like in his 40s or 50s (and worked for blizzard ~20 years ago)

What are you doing with your life if you’re a 50 year old man fawning over the hot protagonist in Stellar Blade while whining about a black character in a video game?

To an extent yeah.

But what some including self are reffering to is the overly blatant and rampant racism and sexism over this.

I’m being reminded of chat channels from 2004.

You don’t understand, WoW was about ME before!! I’m LITERALLY Illidan IRL!!! I sacrificed EVERYTHING (dropped out of college) and am DEFINED BY MY SCARS (have nothing else going on besides WoW and my parents scream at me to get a job)

The story has NEVER been worse (the characters are trying to be better people and self-reflection makes me uncomfortable)

And just to top it off:
Grom Hellscream was the first black WoW character I’m not going to elaborate.

Hallowfall is subjectively the best story from WoW in a long time.
And I didn’t think Azj-Kahet was going to follow it up well but it did.

Its too bad people can’t get past the genitals of NPCs to see how good of a story line this has truly been. For the first time in WoW history I actually like a Wyrnn. I like Anduins arc a lot.

just ignore them. That’s it. I don’t understand people thinking they have this moral obligation to police video games. I’m not sure people have noticed, but all the SJW on the internet and gaming has just made the other side worse. It is a constant conflict that will get worse with more and more forced censorship. Now I’m not saying people should go typing all the profanities and insults, or be degrading and hostile. But the constant attempts of one side to silence the other are doing nothing but causing a greater rift between the community. It’s just like what the elite are doing in politics, get everyone divided and fighting.

Rant detected; food and caffeine required lol.

So, is this just like all uproar that the gay centaurs had? Blizzard’s gone woke there too many same sex quests.

Maybe people would not notice these stories if Blizzard actually knew how to write engaging stories for these characters. Instead, it is soap opera level of dialog that makes them seem like they came out of a Twilight scene.

That’s fine and all but the level both were getting was insane.

You can’t come here last few days without people running with the sexism and racism.

Juat because some want to use ignore doesn’t make it any less .

That’s essentially saying “let’s close our eyes and prentend it didnt happen”

There’s no place to act like that here and the ones who have are really going against ToS and SC.
