FDK deathbringer or feral druid as main?

which has more easiest time doing end game contents but lower apm ?

FDK is definitely the easier of the two.

I love my Guardian/Feral for a lot of reasons:

  1. I can play any spec - Tank, Healer, MDPS, RDPS
  2. I can use flight form to click and collect things like chests and WQ items
  3. I can stealth past trash in cat form
  4. Shapeshifting means never worrying about the mog every time you upgrade
  5. Tons of raid utility
  6. Instant flight, no more waiting for a mount

And the list goes on.

But for simple and straight foward game play n lower apm would be fdk deathbringer i just hate having multiple specs turns me off though?

Frost DK is easier. Feral has blood talons where you have to do 3 different combo point generators to proc it which increases the damage of your next 3 finishers. That alone might turn people away.

It’s all about personal choices. I like tanking, so I am primarily guardian anyway. Ironically, I took a break from my Druid in Shadowlands to try a new main. After 3 weeks of spreadsheets, research, and data, I discovered the most self sufficient Race/Class combo in this game is a Mechagnome Mage. They can do ANYTHING except pick pockets and wield certain weapons/gear. As for being a Druid, there is a reason it is super popular in the open world, but you are correct. When it comes to playing something ridiculously simple with lower apm, FDK is a win. Just ironic that FDK is stupid OP right now. Kinda makes you wonder about the motivation and how it smells more like FotM and less like a permanent class to play.

Not going after FoTM class cause of carpal tunnel issue in my wrist though

Frost is pretty chill an fun compared to Feral.

I just prefer Frost. It’s a major bonus that it’s finally decent (and that I can run Oblit instead of the 2m, I hate the 2m window.)

I see so for easier and straight forward is FDK so my feral at 590 atm but not a main just something to mess around till 11.0.5

I love feral’s class/spec fantasy, but I’ve never enjoyed the actual playstyle.

FDK, however, is tons of fun (imo) and has a great class/spec fantasy.

Guess ill have to make an Mechagnome FDK after weekly reset (will do both feral and fdk as main)

Bloodtalons is nowhere near a mandatory talent anymore to deal good damage. There are builds that don’t even go down that entire wing of the tree. And then even when you do want those talents, the Lion’s Strength choice node sims pretty close to Bloodtalons. I agree overall that Frost DK is still easier if for no other reason than snapshotting. But if the straw breaking the camel’s back is Bloodtalons, that is simply not a mandatory talent for anyone not pushing the highest levels of content.

Thanks ill make an Mechagnome fdk tommorrow but prob will kinda push feral to 600+ for safe keeping

If casters are of any interest to you, affliction lock only needs an apm of 35-40

i met a very friendly nice feral druid (tank) at a world boss spawn and i mentioned how i was stuggling on my demon hunter tank in a t8, so they carried me thru 2 t8s. I was playing on my demon hunter in tank as well and when i took aggro i got slapped for 1m to 3m a pop at 590 item level and the bear got tickled for 100k to 300k. The feral druid also had 8.1m health and i only have 7.3m health

but the druid made those 2 t8s look super easy. They crushed the dps meter too

Planning for Dracthyr Warlock (or when hunters api comes out we see)

I feel that. I suffer in both wrists and developed arthritis a year ago just before turning 50, so now if I am not wearing my hand/wrist braces while I play, my palms will cramp to a charlie horse level in mere moments.

And yet… I still do.

Same  but not nearly as bad as when I am staring at the upgrade. That’s why I got the new bear mount to replace my Yak. Mog in the open world.
