Due to the non-linear leveling paths in Shadowlands, having a heart icon for favorites is beyond useless. My recommendation is to replace it with the number of resources the character has for the currently-selected expansion, and sort by that, instead of by character level. That way, we spend less time wondering which character has War Resources, which ones have Class Hall Resources, etc.
