Favorite Timeline to Level In?

I have a goblin warlock in Hellfire Peninsula and he might as well be on the moon. Zero people. Fewls horribly desolate. Where should i take him to see other people?

There’s more activity for Outlands during Timewalking tBC. :spiral_calendar::robot:

Ironically TBC is my favorite, always most nostalgic for that expansion.

Probably BfA after that, because the scenery is nice and there’s a good variety of zones.

Cataclysm, I’ve done so many times, I can’t stomach it again, same with WoD. The bonus exp was too good for a time, levelled tons of alts in those.

On a class I haven’t done the Legion content for, I level them through Legion.

On a class I’ve already done that content for, I prefer WoD for Alliance character and BfA for Horde characters.

You get the immersive Hellfire Peninsula experience and you’re complaining?

But seriously idk really, Chromie Time and sharding has really kinda split everyone up into their own little worlds while leveling.

DF leveling experience will have the new players I believe. You wont see people out in the other timelines much at all.

I always enjoyed the WoD leveling experience over any other. Going out and recruiting NPCs to your garrison was a fun little side endeavor.

But if you’re looking to find other players, then probably DF or possibly the vanilla zones.

this right here.

except that I prefer BFA for both Horde AND Alliance.

It’s been a long time since I’ve actually levelled organically. I levelled a bunch during that MoP time event thing but since that I really can’t remember.

But if I was to level, it would be WoD. No question about it.

Alliance BFA doesn’t have enough Draenei for me.

I go between Cataclysm, Legion, and Warlords of Draenor. (Yes, I give WoD a lot of crap for having been an unfinished train wreck of an expansion. But the leveling part was tight.)

I don’t bother with other people when leveling alts. I level in the starter zones (Quel’thalas for Blood Elves & Around Stormwind for Void Elves) then I pick a Chromie Time I haven’t been to for a while to level the rest of the way.

I just do the quests. That works perfectly fine.

Legion is my personal favorite. Otherwise I will take on Shadowlands (despite the awful ending, I enjoyed most of that expansion).

Cataclysm for me. I don’t really have a specific reason. Just feels right.

I pick the classic areas (I lost count of how many times I’ve leveled through the barrens), and then TBC. Outside of that, if I want to lazily level, I’ll plant the alt in dustwallow marsh and do a lap around the area killing every rare a couple of times a day. I’m sure there are better zones for this, but dustwallow has so many and it doesn’t take long to lap the place once you know where every rare is. You get a couple of levels for a few minutes of work each time.

I was there when the dark portal opened. This is not the Hellfire i remember.

NGL, I only level up on timewalking dungeons, or if not, I pick the timelines that have the first 3 expansions, so I do the dungeon quests. I stopped doing open world quests a long time ago, not worth it

Whichever one is the timewalking for that week.

I started in Shadowlands so BfA is the levelling experience that I think holds the most ‘nostalgia’ power over me. It’s closely contested by Legion and WoD. I burnt myself on DF levelling content so that gets a skip.

In particular to BfA Stormsong is up there. I’m a big fan of their culture.
