I was in the UK for a few weeks and happened to only be an hour train ride away from their last show… I wish I had gone to that. At least I got to see them twice years ago so at least that’s something lol.

Texxas Jam 84 he was co-headliner with Rush.
Great show but wicked sunburn at the Cotton Bowl that day.

Also had tickets for the show scheduled at the old Hemisfair Arena in 82 (lol “obstructed views” old school) for the night after he used the big memorial across the street from the Alamo as a personal territory marker. My gf at the time got really angry about the incident, tore up the tickets and broke up with me when I laughed about it.

RIP
peace to his family, friends and fans

Yeah I was wrapping up college then.

Epic intro. Great lyrics.

Was always partial to Over the Mountain. First song I learned on the drums.

I’m pretty sure Robert Trujillo’s legendary crab walk was a result of trying to dodge water thrown by Ozzy on stage.

This for me as well.

Very close runners-up for me would be War Pigs, Fire in the Sky, and Tomorrow

The entire “Paranoid” album is my favorite Ozzy song.

I was going to post something snarky, but I will instead say, if you think music is automatically bad because it pre dates you, you are missing out. I’m not just talking about Ozzy or Sabbath.

Oh no, not Ozzy. He just made it to the Rock hall of fame.

We’re not worthy OZZY, rock in heaven brother.
