In TWW specifically it’s gonna have to be Brann.
Yes I sometimes want to push him through the walls he so lovingly stares at, but he’s also been there for the fun too.
He’s grown on me and as much as I’d like a new companion in the future, for now I’m pretty happy with ole raisin Brann.
He get’s my vote.
2nd is Faerin Lothar, rough and wore torn but still has Paladin vibes, plus I like the Lamplighter stuff. Also she rubs some people the wrong way just for existing. I like that too.

I really went into it almost wanting to be more meh about Alleria than I expected to be, but she has one of my favorite voice actors and I actually do enjoy adventuring with her.
I wonder how she will be handled to bounce off the united elf cast in Midnight now.
As much as I have neglected Azj Kahet, the widow and the vizier are fun schemers
Also minor but the expedition NPCs who show up again in Azj’kahet have been fun, as is the Vulpera leader who I had barely seen before since I still have not unlocked the race.
Also the various Dalaran refugees who got spoken lines, individually they are not much but as a whole they set an ambience in Dornogal.

Number 1 favorite is Mr. Sunflower, the Nerubian therapist. His cave puzzle in Zaralek Cavern and his questline in City of Threads are both outrageously funny. Oh, and he shows up at the trading post asking for something with gold stars to award his…best patients? best students? It’s unclear.
Number 2 favorite is Dagran. I hope we see a lot more of him.

Dagran is great.
- The kobold npc in Dornogal who is there doing some shopping. They ask if they can get a candle. The merchant says they’ll throw a candle in for free. They’re all excited to get a free candle and they say “best day ever!”
I like that one too.

I was impressed that the writers actually managed to make Magni Bronzebeard both compelling and interesting. I thought it’d be a bunch more annoying shouting but man, he came out with some interesting personal conflicts and character development.

The Widow. How can I resist a giant spider lady who calls me “morsel?” I like how she’s handling things and her wry observations. Admittedly, I prefer to return to Dornogal to sleep rather than stay in Spiderville. shivers
