im still new to the game (and MMOs in general) and ive been experimenting with healers, im currently tied between rdruid and pres evoker, i wanna know y’alls favorite and why

I have bias as I prefer Melee DPS, buuut…
Mistweaver Monk. Specifically Fistweaving. It’s basically a Melee DPS that trades some DPS to make sure everyone stays alive. So if you like Melee DPS, Fistweavers might just be the right choice for you.
Do note that Fistweaving won’t be possible until you can get the choice node talent Ancient Teachings, and even then it’s not super effective until you can get Faeline Stomp and the talents immediately after it. Once you do though, smooth sailing.

Resto-Shaman, I enjoy being so versatile with my kit and I enjoy the use of water for the spells.
And I play holy priest on the side. I like to play reactionary when I heal more often than not and Holy gives me that ability. I do play Disc from time to time if I want a challenge.
Holy Pally I play occasionally and then I do enjoy mistweaver if I’m feeling like playing it. Druid’s the one class I don’t feel like I’m good at. But I try to play all the healers.

My favorite is disc by a large margin because it’s secretly a dps and I like that.
The other healers actually have to heal and I don’t like that. Disc I can use my atonement superspreader, optimize dps, and that works until basically m+15-16 then if I also use healing cooldowns well up to 18 or so.

Shaman. Reincarn is always neat, spammable AOE heals, but most of all? Ghost wolf. Most mobile healing class, it’s hard to go back to anything else. I always keep up with Tanks easiest with them.

I’ve mostly played a resto sham or holy pally healing since end of bc but I really enjoy the play style of evoker right now

Prevoker, big time. Kit is fluid, has a lot of tools, and has the capability of big damage.

mist is my favorite. it has just the right amount of consistent healing, hots, big heals and other lil tidbits. I like the movement abilities too. the worst part is being stationary
mains a rdruid though. its… fine. everyone else has many awesome options, we get like two maybe. thats… fine.

I was a holy priest for a while, just switched to disc and really enjoying that. Such a fun play style.
I also play a resto Druid and shaman. The Druid is a very different style than my holy priest was and also enjoy that. Shaman was some what the same style my holy priest was. However he does have so much in his tool kit. Not tried my shaman this xpac

I think I would recommend resto shaman to a new player.
Super strong healing, very very easy to do passive damage, DPS off specs are also fun.
Druid is hps god, but it’s really annoying to do any damage.
Evoker nerfs really killed some of the fun. The range restriction is pretty annoying sometimes.

My absolute favorite is Mistweaver Monk.
I love the aesthetics, the design, the lore, the speed.
But i main a restoration shaman, which I like just slightly less. It has a huge toolkit (some things just for added flavor or fun), healing based on water is pretty unique in games, and I do like how their spells fit together. The only reason I main it instead of Mistweaver is because I can’t stand Windwalker monk, but I do like shaman’s dps options.
