I pretty much lost interest in ftp mmos. It’s pretty much just wow, and a little FF14 when I get the urge. I did try a ton of them though.

i haven’t tied Blade and Soul, is it good or what? I hear about it a lot…I might try it if you say so, hehe :).

I’m still early in the game, so I cant really say much just yet. Character customization is deep, the art style is manhwa - that of Korean comics. I’m enjoying the classes and combat so far, with an additional function to counter attacks. It levels like WoW - tab-target with quests you pickup from hubs.

The downside - given that it’s F2P, character slots and the inventory is small, so you know what you have to do to make them bigger…

Is Neverwinter worth checking out? I tried GW2 a bit but I couldn’t get used to it

Neverwinter is probably the most simple for me anyway MMO ever, you basically do the same crap over and over. The stat/crafting or w/e its called is a bit confusing at first. Otherwise its a straightforward action RPG. The good thing I like is the combat, the character creation is pretty bad. The only reason I was playing it is, its very casual to just relax. Short answer if you like WoW its probably bad option. For me, I didn’t have the money for a WoW sub at the time.

Just wanted to update to say that I am playing Blade and Soul now, and I’m really enjoying it as something to play on the side of wow.

Neverwinter is pay to win.

There was an old russian WoW clone that I enjoyed playing called Allods Online. Was F2P for the US but really, really, REALLY leaned into the P2W element of a cash shop. Honestly a fun game and could do up to endgame content (Enjoy the story and such) without having to spend a dime which was nice.

I miss it sometimes not gonna lie.

I wanted to go back to my TERA character but my character data was wiped when they changed owners so that’s dead forever to me now.
