When I was young and in early high school, I used to use a cheat to make everyone follow you in GTA: Vice City. I’d bring them to a back alley and nuke them for cash with a katana.

Something I liked that wasn’t a cheat code, but felt like cheating in Civ 5. I’d play with some friends against others. I’d go Venice. I loved Venice.

Well, since you’re weak early you tend to get nuked so you can’t set up your supply trains and roll in the money as Venice does… But when you have 2-3 allies protecting you so that you can fuel their war efforts…

Was pretty fun.

The Jetpack cheat in GTA SA. Rocketman on PC, and L1, L2, R1, R2, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, L1, L2, R1, R2, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT. for Ps2.

GTA vice city on pc… typing tortoise gave you full health and armor

Fun fact, you can punch the cheat codes in the pause screen in GTA 3 and VC.

Also, it’s “Preciousprotection” for armor and “Aspirine” for health on VC.

Cheat codes & exploits have always ruined a game for me & made it completely unplayable after that,

I can understand that. I activated a riot cheat in my GTA SA and saved with it, which permanently messed up one of the missions in Las venturas (where you have to save Madd Dogg) to a point where i have to restart the whole game over…

Did i forget to mention that mission is in 3/4th’s way in the game??

Other then that, Cheats/Exploits in Single-player games are totally fine, cause… you know, their only experienced by a single-player. If i want to turn on God mode, that’s my prerogative.

With all the recent talk of ‘cheating’, and ‘exploiting’ in the forums lately, it got me thinking about something.

What are some of your favorite cheat codes from video games you used to play?
Or what cheat codes do you remember using the most often, or have fond memories of?

My favorite would be Conker’s Bad Fur Day for the N64, because for some reason I can still remember 60% of the cheat codes for that game.

It’s not one, it’s a combo, Tank cheat in GTA Vice city and the dotto cheat what let cars float a little bit, you turn the tank cannon around and keep firing it while pulling back and it starts taking off like a plane.
