Hi there all and I would like your opinions on how you think Blizzard could make the “Fated” season more interesting (let’s face it… It was not very interesting in Shadowlands) and give players something to do to keep them playing the game longer. I have an idea for this (which can help in giving players more freedom for the final season)
1.) Make the “Fated” Raid drop generic tier tokens. Similar to Classic raids, instead of dropping a specific tier set it would drop a token you could exchange for the tier of your choice. Did you like the season 2 tier better than seasons 1 and 3? That’s fine! Just grab it from the Token Vendor in Valdrakken or a vendor outside of the “Fated” raid entrance. Instead of locking people into a specific tier (because of one poll), make it optional which one you get.
A good example is Resto Druid. Season 2 tier is excellent for Raid but “Meh” for Mythic plus. However, Season 3 is great for Resto Druids in Mythic Plus. It would take more time to get 2 sets, but it would keep me running the raids each week.
I see it like this… We’ve done the content up to this point, give us the chance to choose which one from the season we like and go with it while also “collecting them all”. Different people prefer different healing styles and would or could prefer a specific tier that goes along with their style. There will already be an item vendor for Trinkets and weapons to choose from, which contains all of the gear from all of the Dragonflight raids, why not tier? I know this will be a short season but it’s just something to do so we don’t just sit on the couch because we are bored with the season after week 4.
