I’m trying to find the vendor to exchange this 278 weapon token I got from a Fated CN normal Raid.
I checked every vendor so far and none will take it. Any ideas?

What vendor? I’ve checked the LFR, Normal and Heroic one. None will take the token.
Seems not all the Covenant vendors are accepting it. I would just wait for a hotfix announcement, or risk losing the reward if Blizzard decides their fix isn’t retroactive.
It might be a bug.
Alternatively, make sure the ilvl of your spherule andthe ilvl of the weapon from the NPC match.
Those covenant NPCs have had the weps for several weeks now.
Yep I checked everything. Heroic gives 291, LFR gives 200 and Normal gives 220 or so. I think it’s a bug.

I opened a bug report but I 99% guarantee Blizz will lack the commitment to fix it.
It’s pathetic how awful this game has truly got since Legion.
Legit broken quests still from BFA.
And now I can’t even upgrade my green weapons still because of this dumb crap.
the vendors for necro work fine… i was looking at them the other day
Not for Venthyr.
its there, just check in both night fae and venthyr. if you have the heroic (291) one you can find it at the heroic nathria vendor in your covenant area. its just mixed in with the old ones

the items are on the vendors, just check the matching vendor (dont use mods that change the UI here) and probably have to go to page 2 or more to see, they are at the end of the list
For anyone else searching for this issue, I just put in a ticket.
The vendors are in your covenant and each level has a fated weapon level.
So 285 weapon for a 285 token (for heroic). If you get the Sire D token which is higher item level the token does not match the weapon and you can’t buy it.
The 298 Heroic Weapon on the vendors shows it requires a 207 token and will not let you buy it. I just checked 3 different covenant vendors and they are all the same way.

Necro didn’t work for me for that specific token, it is asking for a 207 token for the 298 item and no way to spend the 298 tokens.
Mine worked last night as Kyrian. I got mine from the great vault at ilvl 272, and pretty sure i bought it off of the normal raid vendor. Items were placed at the last page of the vendor window
It is very explicitly the Denathrius ones, not the Sun King ones. All Denathrius fated difficulties are showing the normal non-fated 207 ilvl spherule as their required cost.
This bug is preventing a guildie from using his heroic fated spherule… more importantly it may be possible to kill normal non-fated Donny and buy a fated mythic weapon atm.
I was able to turn my weapon token in at the Venthyr weapon vendor but what I wanted was on a different page I had to scroll a bit to find the fated stuff.
Check page 2. I successfully turned in a heroic spherule the other day - even went around to the different cov vendors cause I was looking at appearances, and I could turn it in at all of them. First page had the old, non-fated exchange, second page had the fated ones.
Weird wonder why it’s bugged for some people I’m seeing both the items for the 207 token and the 278 token on the normal vendor. Is it just the heroic tokens that are missing?
