After picking up the shield at the Wrathgate and travelling to Stormwind I picked up the quest “Fate, Up Against Your Will” from King Varian Wrynn. Jaina is supposed to be standing close by with a portal to Orgrimmar, but she is nowhere to be found. How am I supposed to complete these quest?

Also bugged for me. I don’t see Jaina after picking up the quest.
Also having this issue.
Same issue here. No Jaina. I know that she was there earlier today but I didn’t talk to her to portal as I had other things to do out of game. Upon returning this evening she was not there when I returned to Stormwind.
Same, the phase I’m being sent to makes Emissary Taluun show up, rather then Jaina
I’m having same issue. Just Emissary Taluun is next to the throne.

Looks like Blizzard pushed a hotfix to help people who are stuck but in turn broke it for others. There are supposed to be NPCs near Undercity that you can talk to put you in the correct phase to complete those quests, but it appears those NPCs aren’t there.
same… Lady Jaina Proudmoore isn’t standing next to King Varian for the quest “Fate, Up Against Your Will” that eventually leads to the battle for undercity.

Same issue, no Jaina, after accepting and dropping quest multiple times.
Seems after a few days Jaina returned from her AWOL.
Though this wasn’t from some implemented fix as it seems it’s still occurring to others.
Jaina has indeed returned, and even opens up a portal, but the Horde is instantly aggresive, and slaps the s**t out of you. Great job.

I am having a bug where Jaina will put down the port and say “Lets Go” but she wont show up in Orgrimar and Thrall just kills me. Anyone else struggling with this?

same thing is happening to me. put in a ticket about a week ago and haven’t heard anything back.

Just tried to do this quest and after I entered the portal Jaina was nowhere to be found in Thrall’s room and I’m killed immediately by the guards.
UPDATE: Automated ticket response, basically “Abandon the quest and try again.” Not only did I do that, but I disabled all my addons, restarted the game, and tried again. Makes no difference. I am immediately killed upon entering the portal. I have no choice but to resurrect at the graveyard and accept the repair costs. Perhaps I should consider myself lucky, but this is by far one of the most broken quests I’ve experienced in this game.

Ya this is a bummer because its a fun quest line. Hope they fix it, its literally what I pay for monthly… so…
Any update on this quest?
Every time I go through the portal into Orgrimmar I automatically die, I have dropped this quest and picked it back up so many times, and still the same results. Anyone have a solution to this?
