Fatal flaw with follower dungeons v2 (Now in "nice passivist" flavor!)

I can’t qeue for them until I hit level 70, by which point I won’t need them because I will have learned how to properly tackle the dungeon by… ya know… levelling thru them with real people?

Opening the dungeons up to 60-70 would also pose some problems I think, since the social element of qeueing with others would be hampered, with the only limiting factor being the amount of follower dungeons we can qeue for daily.

In the last thread I had some very nice people berating me for not taking into account their socially derived hardships, like saying HI to someone. Look, I get it, I have social issues too. I don’t like talking to people when I walk the dogs. I don’t like interaction when I absolutely don’t need to.

But I thought it was BAD to design content around a small minority, leaving the rest out to dry? Isn’t that bad?? Or is it only bad when that minority is the top 1%, instead of the bottom 1%?

Also please don’t swear at me, it hurts my sensibilities. At the very least, use a trigger warning…

I think the intention is that the follower dungeons will be available starting at level 10 once dragonflight becomes the new New Player Experience

Social aspect is already there for m+

Blizzard can’t do anything correctly. Its just like the reputation gear, by the time you get the rep needed its a net downgrade. This game is hopeless

Are you sure you can’t queue at level 60?

I think you can, Blizzard even increased the xp you gain

I thought they said this was just for now so they can test it on live? I’m sure I have heard someone say it, although it might not be a blue post. But it would make sense to let people test it out first en’masse at least.

This sounds like it could also be it.

The reputation vendors are lower than other forms of PvE and PvP content simply because to make reputation vendors sell better stuff, that now makes reputation hunting a central PvE aspect. Which it used to be, and it was dreadful.

I have no idea why you can’t queue for them before 70. What happens when you try? I did see on Reddit that you need to be ilvl 180 to queue for them.

Other people are out there running them before 70 right now, and I did yesterday, so could there be some UI or addon issue that’s causing this for you?

there is plenty of dungeon content already - they put in a system for a small group of people who want to learn in them or do them for other reasons, does not mean you are being left out to dry. It just means the content isn’t mean for you since you have plenty of the normal dungeon content.

I really don’t understand the idea that every bit of content should be for you alone.

You sure? They’re meant for 60-70. People are running them 60-70. They just adjusted the XP for them.

I make use of the rep gear normally because I don’t do dungeons or raid, just world content.

Yah’. That’s their use effectively.

You’d be surprised how many find ‘social experience’ to be fingernails on a chalkboard. Being kicked for making a mistake or just having sub par DPS is pretty triggering I guess.

Level 60 leveling dungeon gear in Chromie time is ilvl 194.

But the OP wasn’t talking about Chromie time, and you can’t do the DF dungeons in Chromie time anyway, so I’m not sure this is relevant to the OP’s issue.

Vote kicking, Yelling, Screaming, Cussing, Name Calling is social element some people want to avoid. Follower dungeons is a very good idea for those wanting to escape toxic behavior. They need to expand on it to include every dungeon including Classic.

They can raise the limit to 30-40 per day. But it a option for those not wanting to team up with poisonous team spewing filth in chat.

For some people rep and world quest gear is their endgame ilvl.

Not sure what you are talking about, I ran five follower dungeons last night on my level 62.
