You are wrong and “illegal” for buying WoW gold from another source also is against TOS but not illegal. Words have meaning. You break WoW TOS, you don’t get to play WoW anymore (or for a longish time) whereas you do something illegal, you might find yourself not playing WoW for a long time…or having any actual freedoms for some period of time too.

If you don’t want to do tokens just do any world quests that give gold on multiple alts. Or gathering professions.
I mean no. You are technically spending real money to purchase a token to sell on the auction house. Not only is that sanctioned, that gives blizzard a hefty profit.

So like mats sell for dirt cheap, like i think 5g each or something like that world quest they might give you like 20g each ? So for 90k how many would you have to do ?
It isn’t actually trolling. Knowing the severity of consequences to actions has merit. From my understanding (and no I’m not talking from experience), it’s still financially cheaper to get a sum of gold from a non Blizzard source as highly inadvisable as that is for a number of reasons…but the worst of those consequences isn’t going to suddenly get you a new roommate and some unflattering orange outfits.
But I’ll also throw you another bone because I’m nice like that. Depending on the number of characters you have access to that can do DF stuff, you can do dragon race world quests. Those give you a bag worth between something like 500-700 gold apiece and each race takes a literal minute or so to do if you’re good. Add in a very generous 15-20 minutes world round trip and you can make somewhere like 7500+ gold per hour (likely more) if you got like 3+ toons that can do that.
That’s probably the fastest and also least time intensive non buying token way to make gold that I can think of. You can probably make more faster with seed money and being good and dedicated at AH flipping, but that’s beyond my experience.
Shoulda rolled on MG we have a special technique around these parts.
