run lfr on a bunch of alts and try to get some of those shadowflame essences, my server they sell for like 9k
It’s not possible to farm 100k gold in 4 hours.

Real “Raw” gold comes from killing mobs and looting/vendoring items/quest rewards/chests etc… That’s how all gold starts in the World… of WarCraft. Doing this is tedious and takes forever. The game is nearly 20 years old so two decades of gold farming bots have saturated the market. I wouldn’t be surprised if more than 80% of all actual raw gold was straight up bot farmed. Yes there are some nice spots to farm raw gold, but even the best spots aren’t netting anything truly crazy.

Vendoring items on the AH like BOEs for mogs and other things… This is all great and really just depends on the market. This wouldn’t be even remotely lucrative though if there wasn’t such a gold saturated economy. If there was no such thing as bots and all gold farmed was legitimate, I don’t think these kinds of sales would work out. In current economy though, this is probably one of the faster ways to make gold, getting very lucky on BOE and mog sales. However, it wouldn’t work in 4 hours since it can take a long time to sell stuff.

You can play the AH and try to corner markets. Even in a legitimate economy, an AH mogul is a very real path to wealth. It’d be cool if bots got banned faster and money was more rare so legit players of the gold economy could be more of a cool thing.

Get EXTREMELY lucky and loot two alchemical flavor packets from the soup event.
If you have access all the chest types, tuskar and dirt piles, the trash can sell for a lot. But that’s maybe 10k an hour at best.

I know a guy that spends most of his time at work flipping the AH. He doesnt even need the gold, hes just bored. I think he has around 4 characters with max gold and still going at it.

If there was an easy way to make 100k gold in 4 hours, then Tokens would be bid up to like 1.2M gold.

Then proceed to block them, send the $ to an alt and log off to another alt.
