Hi, I’m a returning player that left after a month of Shadowlands. Before I left, I got one character to 60, and rest are stuck at 50 or lower. What would be the best way to level during this pre-patch? Should I be doing threads of fate in Shadowlands? Or should I attempt Chromie time in other expacs? Many of these characters have done Legion/part of BFA story, so not sure if they will even be eligible for chromie time.
Harldan and Kraken Latte are two YouTubers who have guides on how to do it the fastest.
Threads of Fate is what you should do. I believe Harldan’s guide recommends doing the Bastion part of the campaign first before turning on Threads of Fate, but that isn’t as important anymore because with the 50% XP buff, the efficiently obtainable sources of XP (e.g., bonus objectives, dungeon quests) should be enough to get you to 60, so you can skip the whole campaign and start in Threads of Fate if you want.
Alternatively, if you like dungeon leveling but don’t want to do Shadowlands dungeons, you could do MoP timewalking starting the week of November 8th or level in any expansion on November 15th when Chromie Time will start to be available from level 50 to 60

If you meet the account-level requirements for Chromie Time, all of your characters below level 50 (or below 60 from November 15th onward) should be able to do it regardless of what content they’ve done before
Wait for Nov 15th. Do it Chromie time.
