I’m trying to buy an alt a covenant set. And the answers I’m getting on Wowhead and in-game aren’t great. Going to try here.
I’m being told the fastest way to get anima is in Zereth Mortis. I’ve tried this and I’m not seeing results. Does anyone know how you should get anima in ZM?
For my money, the faster area seems to be Korthia. I remember it was a huge spike in Anima at the time, and it seems a lot more self-contained and a more clear path towards getting more anima?
If anyone has an experience they have that lead to quick anima gains, I’d appreciate the help.
My brain skipped ahead and thought you said “Fastest way to get into Anime”
And I was all “Ok well first you…” oh wait
I would probably agree Korthia. I’d probably do rares/chests.
Possibly doing the Anima Conductor activities too? Upgrade the Conductor to rank 2 for each covenant, then rotate through each covenant every day?

I’d be surprised in Korthia had better anima gains than ZM.
How are you getting anima in ZM?
When it was current by killing rares, doing the weekly, wq. Those chests randomly around the map will have some I think
Yeah, the rares aren’t a quick kill, and the area is massive. I still feel like Korthia is faster. But if someone get a path or system for ZM, I’m all ears.
Farm the old old raids and dungeons
I remember it used to be easy to get anima, i had tons of it, actually dont remember how to get it now lol

I solo’d Normal Nathria last week for mogs on my Ret Pally, had to bubble on the Hungering destroyer, and the sun king might be a bit touchy on classes with no heals, but wasn’t “hard” and ended up with a tonne of Anima.
The chests in ZM are a reasonable source if you fly around the zone. Spawns may be inconsistent though.
I’m not really sure what the absolute fastest way would be, but ZM at least is pretty easy.
Make sure you are looking for and doing all the 2x250 anima token WQ’s.
There’s one in Ardenweald that pops up to kill the things coming out of the portals and closing them. And the fight ring in the middle of Maldraxxus, too. Also the “defeat the power champions” daily one that comes up often rewards that in a random zone.
Also, when you get to 100+ souls in your bank, that weekly for collecting 20 will reward the 2x250 anima tokens. And you can do that in torghast, and if you do torghast enough to unlock and complete the Adamant Vaults, the final boss there rewards a pile of 35 anima tokens.
Then in the Maw, there are two WQ’s that frequently reward 2x250 tokens. the one to kill Mor’geth and the one to farm the mobs to fill the bar right around where he is. You have to do a little work in that zone to open those up.
Also, the weekly world boss in the original zones and the outdoor boss in ZM often reward 2x250 anima.

Great advice from Moo.
I do LFR raiding for SL like Death does. It adds up quick and maybe if you’re lucky you might get a set piece (though no legacy loot yet so it’s rare).
