Fastest way to get 20 artisan acuity as pvper who never has done professions

Howdy,

So I exclusively pvp, I learned recently that you need to have your acuity to recraft gear which is extremely annoying and I just can’t buy them. What do i do to get 20 ASAP?

Pick up a gathering profession such as mining or herbalism and gather four unique types of resource for that profession (for example with mining: bismuth, ironclaw, webbed bismuth, crystalline ironclaw, etc.). Each new type unlocks an entry in your profession journal and grants 1 profession knowledge and 5 acuity. This should take no more than 5-10 minutes depending on how many farm bots are active in your server cluster.

If you need more acuity in the future you can gather herbs/ores until you get profession knowledge objects that drop rarely from nodes. Using those will also give 5 points of acuity each. There are also a set number of objects (I think 8 per profession) out in the world that each grant 3 profession knowledge and 15 acuity each. One-time use, though.

Further, you can couple a gathering profession with a crafting profession (again, for future acuity acquisition). Each time you craft an item for the first time you get 5 acuity and there are many “Patron” work orders you can complete that grant between 10-30 acuity assuming you have the materials (you can buy them on the AH if money is no problem).

benggaul’s suggestions are good, but there’s an even quicker way. grab a random profession, doesn’t matter which, and go into the artisan craft hall (near the auction house). an npc will give you a quest to talk to another npc like 4 foot away. reward is a bag that contains a choice of trade goods and 350 acuity.

Found the quest, and got 350!!! YOU ARE A LEGEND.

I honestly completely forgot about that quest since I did it a month ago now at this point.

My suggestions are better for once that one-time payout runs out.

The profession treasures found in each zones will only give KPs, not AA. These treasures fell prey to measures to combat the dreaded shuffle.
