Hey guys, I’ll let you know straight away that I joined at the BFA launch and I’m trying to find the class I enjoy the most.
I wanted to know if the monk is the fastest paced class in the game as of now (an overall of keeping my character moving, rotation and content clearing ,etc.) I enjoy class complexity, stuff that keeps me pressing buttons all over and stuff like that (I just need to feel like I’m going at 200 apm) . I’ve been hopping around from class to class but I feel like i can’t get away from the monk, I saw that fury is supposedly fast but the rotation is too simple for my taste, I don’t like the theme of the DH,but I’ll give it another go if you guys would recommend it. So i wanted to know if I should look at some specific spec/classes or if I made the right choice investing time into the WW monk.
I’m also trying to find a class to main in classic wow that’s fast/fastest paced, I would assume it’s warrior, right ?
I was going to say DH but since you don’t like them, then yeah monk is probably your best bet for what you want. DH is the most frenetic hoppy/skippy gameplay but you don’t like them so may as well stick to WW monk.
So far as classic I don’t really remember which is the most active/frenetic one in vanilla really. I might make a stab though and say maybe rogue?

Thanks for the input. What I’ve decided to do is main a ww monk on horde and use a dh on alliance, just so i can unlock alliance allied races /achievements.
Based on your post, I’d recommend staying with WW. We used to be far faster than we are now, but fun was detected. That said, if RNG is on your side with Azerite traits, we basically always have a button to press to juggle our rotation. However, due to energy starvation issues, we occasionally slow down.
Regarding our relation to DHs, they are objectively faster paced than us. However, it is because of the way their rotation is built. Resource management isn’t really a thing for them, so it’s usually mash A until you have max fury, then mash B while mashing C on CD and mashing D on CD but when you’re at like 30% fury bar. I’ve played DH before and it felt really dirty in the sense that i was putting out waaay too much output for the effort i was putting into my rotation.

To mix things up a bit PERHAPS!!! specially outlaw rogue.
They have fast energy regain so pretty quick to go from mob to mob.
They have sprint and grappling hook.

Yeah I have an outlaw but having to to use RTB 5 times to get the buff you need is really off putting
You made the right choice with Monk.
Fury does have the highest APM in the game, but its rotation is pretty easy. Havoc has the most braindead rotation in the entire game, so steer clear of it if you’re looking for complexity. Enhancement has a decently high APM but it just isn’t designed very well at the moment; feels like it never made it out of beta. Stick with WW.
