Fastest movement speed class/race for old content?

Now that legendaries are no longer, just wondering if anyone has an idea of the fastest class/race combo for clearing old content where sustain doesnt matter (e.g pre WoD)?

My top 3 would be

  1. Any druid (esp NE)
  2. Dark iron hunter
  3. Dark iron Monk

Anyone else have any better combos?

Warriors are pretty damn fast actually

Nothing comes close to Demon Hunters in this regard.

Shaman are decent with ghost wolf since it works indoors. Most people forget that in threads like this.

Feral Druid or DH with all of the mastery.

Survival hunter with Trailblazer, Posthaste, and Terms of Engagement. You’re passively 30% faster when you’re not attacking, you can charge and kills reset your charge, you can DIsengage and it gives you a speed boost.

(Can somebody who knows clarify: does Terms of Engagement require an enemy that gives XP? It doesn’t say it does, like say Death’s Reach does.)

It’s going to depend on if you’re stopping at 115 or whatever to use legion legendaries.

At 120, I’m not sure, but my blood elf BM hunter is up to 180% base speed. The SV hunter harpoon talent does not work against grey level targets, and SV loses 4% movement speed compared to BM with the talent that buffs pet auras.

Pretty sure a 110 xp locked dark iron dwarf paladin with aggrammars stride and what not is the fastest.

You have to take some time to gear it up properly though.

This. Mastery turns into movement speed for us, so if you stack it at 110 before secondaries become sparse you get a toon like this with 67 percent mastery

Sorry should of clarified I was talking about at 120 (thus no legenderies).

DH movement speed got nerfed, even with stacking mastery I dont think it can get to the 45 to 50% movement speed of hunters and druids.

Also what do warrior have apart from a leap every 30sec and charge. Warbringer is only 30% after a kill.

Chargex2
Heroic leapx2
I have Bull rush or whatever
Pop a swift pot and CDs should be back up or close.

True, but the second leap is a pvp talent no? So deactivated in dungeons.

My 111 DH has 95% base mastery. 111s are better for pve because they allow for more efficient stat stacking because they have access to BfA gems and enchants

My Worgen Druids have darkflight and dash.

If you’re doing it for the mogs, consider that warriors can use all the weapons, except wands, which no one mogs anyway
