So what is the fastest way to level in the game. ive tried durid and warlock questing and it seems ok. ive heard mage dungeons are good. so what is the fastest way to level. i know boosting is the best. but i dont have the gold to buy them and have lots of school coming up, so i want to reach a relatily high level character fast (accepting free boosts tho, idk how to repay tho, i could pick any profession you need items from and be ur person crafting station, idk or help u boost later.) so, considering no one will boost me, how can i be super fast
- Mage boosts
- Out of group healer mob grinding
- Quest boosting
- World hyperspawn mob grinding | Dungeon grinding with half decent players
- Rested farming/xp grinding
The order gets out of whack sometimes.

The fasted leveling besides boosting is mage aoe grinding.

xp from tagging got nerfed after asmongold’s fiasco at jintha’alor, getting a raid to kill his tags for full xp. Out of group healers aren’t affected.
No it still works. Look up recent videos. You just have to have a pet class like hunter or warlock use their pet to kill the mob, and you have to be in a group with someone that’s in the same zone as you but out of xp range.

i just tested it on my 41 hunter an a level 1 said he lost no xp for killing his tag, he might be lying but if he’s not thats … interesting.
the second person said he only got 15 xp from lv6 mob though 
i think first guy was lying.
This can be done all the way to 60 if you have enough hunter or warlock pets to kill the mobs. However in reality it’s best for leveling from 1 to ~25. Can be done in under 4 hours.
To clarify, the person that’s getting the xp has to be in a group with someone else that’s in their zone, but we’ll outside of xp range (or dead). And the hunter/warlock has to be outside of the group. The pet has to do all the killing after the low level player tags it. If the hunter or warlock do any damage themselves it will kill the xp.

Someone just set the world record for assisted 1-60 in 19 hours multiboxing/mob tagging.
The traditional method of I pull you kill may be nerfed but life uh, finds a way.
idk the ppl i tried helping only got 10-15 xp per kill after they got tag on mobs they normally get 150 xp for, /petattack on cat, both in group and out of group. Not sure if method is broken or instructions too hard.
I also found another person, just for being in his group, his xp went down from 64 per mob to 7xp, without helping at all. While out of group, he got the same mob to half health, and got 40xp. It seems completely based on hp.
Do yellow quests in each zone in which you can quest at your level.
Was the other player in the group well out of exp range?
You apparently need your hunter to be out of group, and then the person you power leveling in a group with someone else, but that person needs to be way out of exp range.
41 hunter. lv1-10 players tested in tirisfal glades. No way I could find to “help” them, other than based on hp in damage they do. Any damge I did directly decreased their xp based linearly out of group. In group it was flat nearzero xp. all with pet.
But wait, were the two people in group, but the second person not nearby? That person far away can’t be in like Orgrimmar either. They have to be in the same zone but not close enough to earn experience for the kill.
I tested both with only me and them in group, and with some people far away. It made no difference. Flat nearzero xp while afk in group.
Hmm, I don’t have a hunter but my buddy is a 60 hunter, gonna try and get him to test it later, will report back lol
I wouldn’t worry too much about his testing. He’s also tested and confirmed that it’s not possible for guilds to ML AQ40 coffee keys and MC goggles.
thats a completely different topic. Yes, as far as i tested you cannot masterloot gray or white items but i don’t see how that is related to hunter pet tagging.
