Looking to level some alts during this isolation period, and was wondering if there was one “best” guide to follow.
I tried auto Azeroth pilot, but it only goes to level 40. Does anyone know if there is a continuation of this guide?

Pick only two and expect the opposite of the one you didn’t pick.
I’ve tried the “Joana guide” for Classic WoW Speed Leveling. I don’t use it much, because I’m an altoholic switching between toons. But if I was leveling one toon 1-60 I would use it.
It is great for questing while minimizing travel. For example, a Night Elf around 15-25 does quests in Darkshore and Ashenvale. In Classic you have to switch zones – you run out of your-level quests in one zone, AND lots of quests say “go get an object far from here”.
Joana will tell you where to go and which quest to take at each place (to stay below 20 quests), in order to level the fastest while doing most of the quests in the 2 zones and doing as few long trips as possible. It’s all figured out for you. Just follow the steps.
The downside is following instructions and doing the quests in that exact order. And there’s only one Horde series and one Alliance one, so you don’t get to pick the zones you use. And there are no dungeons – it’s all solo questing.
It’s also hard to start it in the middle. It isn’t a by-zone guide. It’s a long series of quests in an exact order, with an occasional “If you aren’t within 3 bars of 30, grind until you are”. When I tried it, I was always high enough and didn’t have to grind.
I tried it, too. Was working. Then hated it for some reason. I felt a robotic nerve ending forming in the base of my cortex…
Download Guidelime. Sage’s guide is good, or Judgement’s. 1-60, ~5 days played.
Fastest way to level a toon is to not be there when it happens. Careful though. Proceed with caution.
I use this add on called Wow Pro you can google it. Pair it up with Tom Tom and it’s actually pretty good. It’s descriptive and pretty accurate all the way from 1-60
I leveled 2 characters using Hakurai’s leveling guide on YouTube. Very easy to follow, and hasn’t let me down in thr 2 times I used it.
A couple downsides though. It’s alliance only. He doesn’t have a horde equivalent. It’s all in video form, meaning you have to stop and start it for every step you complete. It can get tedious without a second screen.
Of course, the video format has plenty of upsides too, such as showing you exactly how to find a hidden quest objective in ways a text guide or addon can’t.
