Also, why on earth do you even care about corruption, corruption resistance, and echoes if you aren’t even doing a key each week? If all you do is world content then who cares, the resistance doesn’t add anything.
So grind more, and keep inflating your time played.
That’s why they set the system up this way.

So people are misrepresenting things here. First you dont have to do ANY masks to get your echoes from visions. its just 750 for a full clear. Since you will likely be doing this for a core anyway, then this is easy.
The mythic part isn’t hard either, you dont need to do a 16, you can get your own key and run it up to where you are comfortable and get levelx100 echoes. As a bonus to that you will get 15xkey level in echoes. even a level 7 key will give you 700+105 echoes a week.
Overall an 445 average geared character should only need about 1-2 hours play a day to get around 5-6k echoes a week.

Hearing all of you really makes it sound like blizzard should just hand us everything at the start so YOU can “enjoy” the game without putting in any effort…
Why play the game at all if you that’s your logic ? It’s not the game’s fault if you’re too lazy to put in the work/dedication or aren’t able to for whatever irl situation. The game gives countless EASY ways to gear up and get ressources/currencies. So you can only blame yourself if you DECIDE to not take advantage of options given to you.
I’m all for catching up system and they just gave that to us.
Is it kind of late to do so ? Yes, but they still did.
And as the name says its a catching up system not “instantly become on par with people who invested X amount of work more than you did”.
So I really don’t get why so many are still crying about all this.
In my eyes the catching up system should only work up to 1-2 weeks behind what the current max is rather than allowing me to be exactly on same page as people who clearly have put in more work than I did.
So this is more than I would’ve hoped for.
P.S. This is coming from someone who’s MAIN’s cloak is only at 62 corruption resist.
Corruption matters in all content. Including casual content. Including casual BGs.
False. If you had actually read any of the hundreds of posts on this topic for weeks you’d know many of the suggestions simply remove the time gate but still require as many runs to catch up.

Well, even just in this thread it’s been brought up IE: removing vessels and the weekly core cap so you can just farm out the visions for the resistance at your own pace without a massive currency farm or time-gate.

This new euphemism “Later Today” is confusing everyone.
This is a great change and now I am 2/2 with my predictions to all the coming changes during the remainder of this expansion. It was a no brainer because the only thing keeping people interested right now is making alts and trying new things out, which wouldnt be possible, at least on a competitive level without these changes. Now all that is left is they need to either up the Echoes we receive in activities or add a new source such as World Quests giving them as a reward because a fresh alt has too many things to get, 4-6 Essences minimum, a few vessels to catch up to level 15, corruptions which only show up once every 4 weeks and now cores.
Something is broken, I was unable to buy up to 92 resistance. When I hit 89 resistance on my cloak the cores disappeared from the vendor. I’ve already done my Nzoth and 5 zone vision for the week as well.
