I require thy wisdom.
So I hate haste, I just want a spec that is inheritantly fast paced. I’m a poet and I know it not. Anyone have any recommendations for specs (tank healer or dps) that either scale well with haste, are button mashy or have a high APM (I think that’s the same thing). I feel like when I play ret for example I’m wading through tar. I was considering fury because I just enjoy a button mashing experience that feels fluid. If anyone has any recommendations for tanks or healers that also feel fast I’d appreciate it. My perfect spec would be one that feels like your constantly at the pace of bloodlust.
P.S I know this is such a vague request but I believe in the collective wisdom of the forums.
Fury warrior or BM hunter. Plus you can run around in combat (which is my favourite part).

Demon Hunter is likewise pretty button-mashy. Plus, depending how you talent as Havoc, you’re always zipping around like a maniac picking up your soul fragments.
Depending on what you mean by fast-paced, Shadow Priest is, but it’s fast-paced in a way I find very stressful. You’re constantly trying to maintain all your dots and line things up right for void explosion and if you screw up on your rhythm even a little, everything goes to crap.
You wont get far button mashing on BM. Despite their high focus regen you will get starved very fast if your not very careful with barbed shot timing and good AotW usage. Fury is probably the best if you want non stop action although they need a little tuning. Caster classes are non stop button pressing too since mana almost never runs out unless your arcane mage or spam healing as a non healer class. I would try Fire Mage tbh. It’s a fun spec with some good procs to keep you constantly pumping out the damage. Balance druid is good too at max level since during eclipses you get even faster casting speeds.

It’s fairly rare I have a GCD go by when I don’t mash a button as BM. I try to work hard at my Barbed Shot usage.

Can’t go wrong with a Rogue given they have the shortest GCD before haste comes into effect.
Thanks for the suggestions
I have one of each class close enough to 50 so I’ll have to start giving some stuff a go.

DH, or Fury. Past that there isn’t much '‘fast’ happening.

Ya mastering that barbed shot usage is critical for BM. I screw up one and don’t get a reset proc and it goes down quick. Plus the length of it being shorter than recast irritates me to no end. Hopefully conduits and a little more haste will smooth it out.
I’ve been running Bloodletting. Shaving a second off the CD helps.

For caster specs, look into Warlock. Specifically, Demonology. Its (and Destro’s) best secondary stat is Haste. And Demonology in particular is constantly doing something. Constantly thinking. You need to be managing Soul Shards, Demon uptimes, Demonic Core procs, and Implosion strength all at the same time while doing your rotation. It’s a real skill-intensive spec that requires fast decision-making and quick reactions.
Affliction is also pretty good, with Haste as its 2nd best secondary stat, but it really only gets intense in multi-dotting situations.
Destro has some finesse required (specifically for 2-target situations), but largely it’s pretty simple.
If you want a caster spec that always has you thinking, and will always have room for you to improve, try out Demonology.

Barbed shot management is part of the fun. I’m getting better at it and only very rarely do i fun out of juice,
Lock is def fun, I just wish they had a move speed increase that didn’t try to kill you besides burning rush. Outside of that it feels like they running through mud lol.
Shadow Priests are and always have been speed demons (some ramp up on pull, but once you get going it flows like water).
The trick is playing either Night Fae for the dash or Venthyr for the teleport.
True those help but on much longer CD’s. I would absolutely hate Warlock in the Maw. Even on Hunter with trailblazer it still feels slow getting around in there.
I guess after 13 years of playing Warlock I’m just used to it.
Unless its changed I think fury warrior has the highest actions per minute
Fury , havoc , monk , outlaw
Fury literally has no open cooldowns, there is something to cast…always.
