This “Fast pace” arena play style is completely disgusting. there is literally nothing fun about the current state of pvp, blizzard once again catering to the cry baby Xaryu’s and Savix’s who threaten to quit wow and stop making content if they can’t 1 shot classes or if arena matches go longer than 1 minute.
We watched a streamer at 2500 rating and we watched 25 games and the average time in each arena was just over 2 minutes. with a lot ending well under the 1 minute mark and 1 game hitting over 7 minutes.
2500 rating games ending within 1 minute makes no sense, the damage combined with the CC right now with how useless healers feel not to mention some class off healing is better than having a healer.
Arena used to be a test of skill as to which team could set up and properly win an arena rather than scream “i got big dam” and crit someone for 60% of their hp then laugh.
When I go into an arena and delete someone within 1 global it doesn’t even feel rewarding because it almost doesn’t make sense where all the damage is coming from. no max level player should be able to kill another max level player in 1 global it makes no sense.
And people who complain about long “dampening” games literally make people cringe. you’re playing wow since when has anything only taken 1 minute in the game, if you want quick arena games skrimish is there for a reason.
Games hardly lasted 15 minutes and winning those dampener games is much more rewarding than winning an arena within 1 global because “fast pace”…
15+ people from my pvp guild have already canceled their subs because all they do is pvp and this is the least enjoyable wow pvp has been in a very very very long time.
