The answer might be subjective and depend entirely on the player’s preference and the situation, but I’m asking anyway:
Maybe it’s still too early to ask, but in your experience, which of these hero talents is performing better in PvP? (Elemental)
Farseer has been said to perform best so far by beta players, but I bet stormbringer will have a place as well, especially once people get their haste up. I’m excited to try both!

Haven’t played ele much, mostly resto and a lil enh, but farseer seems categorically better for ele. You gotta burn through a ton of Maelstrom to proc tempest, and much of the rest of the value of the tree is baked into lightning bolt, which you probably won’t be able to spam cast.
Farseer can also help set up some nice burst windows, I’ve caught people off guard as resto, popping two ancestors into lava burst and an instant cast lightning bolt. I imagine ele benefits similarly

I have been playing storm bringer in pvp (crit with some haste). Yesterday I switched to farseer I almost immediately missed Stormbringer.
I’ll have to try it again once conquest gear is available.
As stormbringer I started out maximizing haste and it still felt slow. I decided to lean into crit more with some haste. I decided to try this route since our crit damage is so much higher (280% with talents. Plus we have a lot of crit chance built into talents. I forget what our damage is reduced to in pvp but man Stormbringer hits like a truck.
The AOE dmg from stormbringer in BGs is unmatched in my opinion. CL does more dmg in single target than LB but creates less maelstrom in single target. But having tempest hit multiple targets and then get 2 instant CL at 40% increased dmg is insane. With pet out spamming CL feels so good and fast. Oh plus stormbringer. So imagine spinning flag, tempest into multi targets, into 2 CL, to EQ, FS spread, SK> 2 more CL.
Oh and I use lava surge for slightly faster casts and the 30% dmg increase. Storm pet goes a long way to smoothing out the cast speed. Lastly Tempest benefits from the ES cast speed reduction talent (40%) so if that lines up for you it’s pretty nice to.

Farseer and its not even remotely close.
Farseer just makes how ele was played last season way better, storm changes the entire build and makes it way less mobile and less on demand damage.
Also the fact you can just randomly get 4 back to back procs and 1shot somebody is unpredictable, where stormbringer is really prediacble

as crownseer say, farseer is better than stormbringer in nearly any scenario, casting lb and cl non stop opens you to easier interrupts and you are turned into a turret

I pve solo as a Resto shaman specifically, occasionally going Ele, and Farseer is just better between either spec. It’s nice to have a near-permanent secondary spell caster or healer just pop up every 15 seconds using Unleash Life.
