this upcomming changes are going to make farseer OP, we just needed insta healing rain… whoever is making this changes havent played farseer resto.
They may have improved aspects of the kit that didn’t really need it, but I’m not sure that will make that big of a difference in practice, even if the numbers seem big. All the changes will do in practice is save you some GCDs, which I guess maybe they thought would make the time spent casting HR less annoying. I’d rather they had removed the inconveniences of managing healing rain, but instead they decided to see if they can buff farseer to the point that people who wanted to play it will put up with the annoyance where before the QoL improvements of totemic outweighed the fun things that were in farseer.
I always thought farseer was a more fun concept and liked a lot of the hero talents better, but after trying totemic, I didn’t want to go back to hard casting healing rain and just played totemic most of the time. I’ll try farseer again now that it’s buffed, but having to maybe cast some healing spells less often because they’re bigger now isn’t going to make everyone re-roll farseer shaman I don’t think.
The buffs are nice but until they address instant healing rain and change riptide so that the hot actually does anything it’s not gonna move the needle much. Happy they get some attention but it’s not gonna change that much.
Buff riptide for pvp
hot works nice if talented, maybe lower the talent to 1 points instead of 2… never seen anyone using it. the hot of riptide also actives the one from earthliving weapon. maybe tweak it around that part.
