I got all the mats for [Makeshift Grappling Hook], made it… then I got disconnected. When I came back, the grappling hook is no longer in my inventory and I cannot farm the mats again. it’s getting frustrating!!!
If I recall correctly, you don’t actually get a completed grapple in your bags when you combine the components. The components just disappear.
However, at this point you’ll discover that you can interact with the grapple points throughout the instance. In other words, there is no “Makeshift Grappling Hook” object, just a hidden flag in your character that is turned on when you combine the parts and allows you to grapple by putting your mouse pointer over a grapple point (if you’re close enough).
Try it. If your mouse pointer turns into a grappling pointer when you mouse over a grapple point (even if it’s too far away to use), you will he able to grapple.
that’s just it I cant even click the grapple point…
