Was browsing the requirements since I am nearly done with the Shadowlands one and noticed there is a black bumblebee mount attached to part of it.
Has that been in the game this whole time and I missed it or is it a new addition?
Yep.
Got my final quest done and Island expedition very recently.
According to Warcraft Mounts it was added in 11.0.7 that fits as the Meta was only released recently.
From the page:
" This elegant black bee can be earned through the achievement, I’m On Island Time, which is the meta-achievement for various activities in Kul Tiras and Zandalar. See the link for more information. Note that this achievement was added retroactively in The War Within - 3 expansions later!"
I honestly couldn’t say for sure. I had most of the achievements done in BFA, just needed a few bits here and there to complete the meta.

I’m one item from one rare WQ short.
That’s where I am too. Got the hardest part (Mechagon and Naztajar) done while I was bored in Shadowlands. Don’t really care much for the Jani mount, but to get another Bumblebee and one I can use on my Hordlings really makes it tempting.
I forgot all about this, I’m going to have to see where I’m at with the achiev when I log in today!
I got both Dragonflight and BFA done in the same week, Shadowlands will be a lot longer. I think I am ONE part away, Shadowlands Dilettante and I just don’t have it in me right now.
The Dragon one is the big dog mount right? Have to add that to my to do list.

Waiting for the WQ is murder and the rig in Mechagon is broken for both normal and hardmode. I had to kill Steelsinger for the last record I needed to drop.

I love expansion meta achievements. Got the BfA one the day 11.0.7 dropped!
All my hard work of completing things everyone told me was pointless since they gave no reward finally be paying off.
I have to check when the servers go back up, but I think I have a lot the WQ ones and I definitely know I have the Naztajar and Mechagon ones because I loved the wheel and crab mounts. Probably only need to do the raid and dungeons parts because I avoided all of them when they were live.
I have really started trying to keep track of the WQ but seeing the same quest day in and out is disappointing.
I got this done very recently, in this patch. I thought it was going to be impossible with so many farming Mechagon at the time, I guess I just got lucky when I called out that I was going to try for Hardmode and everyone cooperated, including a Horde who obviously couldn’t not see the chat of me announcing what I was attempting to do.
Same. Took my druid over there and first kill in a very long time, it dropped!
Not sure if you are aware, but you can check WoWhead daily, change the main page to BFA or whatever expansion you need and it will show you all WQ that are currently up and Island expeditions if you needed any.

They are rare and unlike TWW WQ they don’t last literal days. You might get a WQ very early in the morning you miss due to sleeping/work. It’s not the best requirement but it will eventually be completed easily.
Thank you, I forgot about WoWhead. For the rig it did work but at some point it stopped giving the reward. So you do the event and get nothing at the end. I ended up getting the mythic Jaina mount before I got my last record for Mechadone >.<
I’m 6 weeks away from being done assuming I’m able to get past 1 WQ in Nazmir (the WQ associated with “A Most Efficient Apocalypse” achievement). If I don’t, it’s gonna be a while so buckle up for a long ride. WQ is called “Cancel the Blood Troll Apocalypse”.
