You still are on your current main, no?
I’m not sure if you’re worried about them altering PC pieces… but the only piece they have ever altered that I can recall is the Insignia Pants. I think they briefly altered the Pants of A’dal (or something) but it was reverted due to it not being intentional.
Still waiting for the Night Elf Warfront armor to be released. Classic Night Elf fantasy still sitting in the void with so many other NPC only pieces. Also still waiting for the Draenei Heritage pieces and I hope the ladies obtain the outfit from their concept art.

These are pieces that I would also hope they get inspiration from:

Granted I do get concerned with how PG they have designed armored lately…but the recent Ventyr cosmetic dresses gave me a little hope. I found them to be well designed.
While this gal here wouldn’t be wearing ‘sultry’ pieces, my other Draenei would…unfortunately the only options available that are to my liking are the old WotLK first Tier dresses.
One important aspect to this request, I would say, is that it should go both ways. We should receive more sultry pieces for male and females. In the past it was more designed for only females while males don’t receive the same treatment. There are a few key pieces that are revealing for the men but it’s limited.
Oh wow really shocking that most of his paintings were women in bikini waiting to be saved by men.
Some were.
Most were women in bikinis kicking monster butts all on their lonesome, no man in sight.
Those ones were always my favorites.
Give me an example where both the director and the artist were women.
I don’t care to google for an example. I also don’t really care to debate if ‘bikini-clad woman waiting for a rescue’ is a style in fantasy art solely perpetuated by men. I don’t find that particular trope appealing.
I don’t want to be rescued. I want to kick monster butts all on my own, wearing my Armorkinis and looking hella cute and coordinated.
That’s what I find appealing. Powerful women, confident in their own abilities, not weighing themselves down with the trappings of heavy armor because they don’t need it to defeat the big bad guy. Casual badassery.
Probably because it’s super rare or doesn’t exist, but most women has been socially engineered to think many people like bikini warrior so they can do nothing but follow the herd.
Does it matter what anyone wears as long as it’s a choice?
All of this is bickering for the sake of bickering. Blizzard hasn’t touched gear. Transmog is a thing. Other people have already stated it: forcing people to choose between one extreme or the other is… you guessed it, stupid!
You can make your own choice to not use an Armorkini transmog, if you hold disdain for that look. There are a lot of full-coverage sets.
I just want to keep my choice to wear my Armorkinis, to collect new Armorkinis added in, and enjoy the game the way I have for the last decade or so - Kicking monster butts whilst wearing a cute bikini.
Twibiju? Yeah. It’s the horns. I get really creative with everything.
Oh, I understand that’s there’s people out there that don’t like it.
And it’s fine. But on that same note, I don’t get to decide how other people dress.
Though I do agree that armor should be practical. I don’t agree that they should be demanding they the artists design armor just because it shows skin.
I want a Xena outfit.
I also want a He-man outfit for the male models.
But I also wouldn’t mind a Poison Ivy outfit for my hunter. She’s already got a Catwoman outfit.
Among Us armor.
