I am asking for Blizzard not to remove the more “sultry” looking armor from the game. I am asking this not only as a player, but as a woman.
All fantasy type armor in game comes from various other artists in real life. Boris Vellajo, for example. He’s the same guy that did the artwork for Conan. I remember my parents having his art up in one of our hallways when I was probably around 7 and being able to appreciate it.
His paintings are still beautiful to this day and are awesome works of art. He also did a few covers of Heavy Metal if I recall.
He’s like the Godfather of fantasy artwork for me. And then I met HR Giger’s art and developed a new art crush.
So for me, those specific pieces of armor are pieces of artwork in some retrospects. Personally, I don’t find them demeaning at all. Personally, I’d love to see more because it also gives me a chance to get creative (because full body armor is just boring to an extent).
Just my thoughts.

I don’t think they will remove it but they probably will dial back adding new ones in the future. It is just the direction they are heading…

Yeah, I’m mainly referring to the old stuff. I just don’t want to see them get rid of sets that people actually like.
Just stop it. This is pathetic.

Actually, I’m not even trolling here. I used to actually be active on the forums.

So what painting are you most upset about?
None of them.
Did you even read a word I said?

I just want all mogs to be equal. You will always have extreme people trying to ruin everything, but realistically… logically… just think…
The other day, I remembered I could swap genders on my priest. I went from a man to a woman. That’s all… All of a sudden, my pants disappeared. I thought my mog broke. Realized, the pants are just all but missing because I’m a female. That kind of stuff is stupid.
I don’t think more revealing mogs should go away… but there’s no reason there should be
pieces that are drastically more revealing on women than men. That’s where this type of stuff starts to upset people - especially when there’s like a 99% chance a man designed these pieces.
My male toon should have his legs showing too!

What make you think they are going to remove my mog?
Because there’s a wave of prudism that’s been going on for a long time in Blizz that’s been recently accelerated.
Making preemptive threads to discuss the issue and give Blizz an opinion to consider is a good thing.

Thanks, I guess…
I see all these topics, none of them actually wear slutty mogs. It just seems disingenuous.
Oh I get what you’re saying, but I also don’t want to look like Brianne of Tarth every expac.
Same. Like I said, no reason for more revealing mogs to go away, imo. Just should be equal. If the pants disappear when you swap genders to female, that’s just silly. Should disappear on the male toon too!
Keep it consistent, and they’d save themselves a lot trouble, imo.

To be honest, not allowing people to dress sexy is just as sexist as forcing people to wear sexy armor.
Both options should exist for everyone.
It’s not about how they are dressed it’s about how much control they have when dressing.
Being locked out of sexy is just as bad as being forced to be sexy via “it’s the best armor available”. It’s about choice

His wife (ex-wife?) Julie Bell was also pretty handy with a paintbrush.
I imagine half of the folks asking for stuff to be removed also go down to their local school board and demand books be banned.

I don’t think it will go that far
Give it till 9.3 to 9.4. I bet alot will be censored such as emotes, transmogs, and even more paintings by then.
