I’ve been farming fandrals seed pouch toy for a few months now on heroic 25 man difficulty firelands and I can’t seem to have it drop or anything.
I’m curious as to what difficulty I should set it to, how many players, and if it can still even drop to this day?
Well, wowhead says the drop rate is 0.5%. Ouch.
I ran that place every single week on 3 different druids for all of WoD and Legion, it finally dropped towards the end of legion.
If you want the appearance and don’t have the seed pouch yet, you can pick up the seeds on the ground next to the portal before the boss. They last for 1h (persist through death) and you can hold up to 5 of them. So you’ll at least get 5 hours worth of flame kitty, then when you run out of those seeds just make your way back to the instance, reset it and collect more.
doesn’t matter the difficulty. I also got super lucky though and got it pretty fast
It just dropped for me yesterday on 25 heroic. I think it was my fifth attempt?
I’ve ran it on and off for years. I heard the drop rate is off because it will only drop for druids but it counts all classes that run the raid. I still don’t have it!
You can do it on any difficulty. Don’t forget to pick up seeds while you’re there as another has said. Lasts an hour and can carry 5. Will help you out before the toy drops for you this week. I have a feeling it will drop for you your next time. Or the time after that.
Don’t loose hope. I farmed for this for months. It dropped on me finally. It’s worth it going out as a fire kitty.
It took me around a year of randomly doing it for it to drop. I know some have been farming it for years.
Used all the boosts over the years on Druids for that item alone.
Had 4 running that place every week for 3 months to get it to drop.
Most say I got lucky!

The staff still works too, but if you sneeze or fart, fire kitty gone, and the staff has a 2H CD.
I’ve been running this on three druids for a long time. I have both of the mounts but not the toy. I’m starting to doubt that it exists!
