I have the achievement but the pet, Fuzzy, has not been rewarded for it.

Ah, same here. Completed the achievement on 8-24-24. No Fuzzy awarded. He’s not even listed in the pets at all.

I think Blizzard forgot to add Fuzzy to the game; pet’s not even displaying in the journal.

same. put in a report after logging in and noticing it was missing. supplied screen shots showing its not there AND i have the achievement

WowHead comments seem to indicate that the pet is being correctly awarded for players who complete the achievement after 11.0.5 went live.

I guess those who completed it sooner will have to wait for a retroactive award.

That doesn’t surprise me. That sort of thing seems to happen a lot. You’d think they’d figure out how to fix that issue, or at least learn to anticipate it and make sure that it doesn’t happen, you know?

Or, you know, they could have had the meta-achievement and pet in the game at the expansion launch, like they normally do. It’s not like it’s a super special pet. It’s just a recolor of the other jumping spiders that are already available in the game.

I earned the achievement on 8/29/2024 and have seen several achievements “re-propagate” and award titles, cosmetics, etc. but not this one sadly. I don’t know what exactly is occurring over at Blizzard but as an outsider looking in, they have lost something in their day-to-day operations that is seriously affecting their quality control and the ability to retain players with these types of oversights.

This achievement was added to a lengthy list of “pet battle discrepancies” and unfortunately, I cannot find the form post at this time.

I am posting here in hopes that the pet will eventually be awarded to my account and all will (sort of) be well. I’m still reeling from the guild bank dump catastrophe, so my hesitance and trust is severely shaken in Blizzard’s ability to follow through.

This happened to my wife too. She finished the achievement earlier and never got Fuzzy, I completed it today and did.

Similarly in shadowlands, we both completed “A Sly Fox” and never received the fox pet Sly. We both opened tickets and the GMs said “Oh I’m so sorry you never got Sly, I see you successfully got the achievement, but your furry friend is missing. I’m sorry to say, but there’s no way for you to recover this pet even if it was never delivered.”

Isn’t the achievement and game logs enough?
And if some pets are tradable making it so people can scam - sell and then say they never got it - then they should just make achievement pets non-tradable, especially if they’re all going to be bugged like this for 50% of people.

Ran into the same thing. Went through the motions of getting all of the achievements for the meta and never received the reward. I don’t think I even saw the meta complete and thought it was odd at the time but shrugged it off.

Maybe one day they’ll start reinstating rewards they know were broken.

The pet battle meta was added in 11.0.5 before we had no meta.
