The Dracthyr trailer shows a group of Dracthyr using normal flying, an ability we don’t have, and you showcase this with the words “SOAR INTO BATTLE” below it.
That ain’t Soar you’re showing there. And how many new players are going to see this, get hyped up, only to be disappointed when they discover that they have to struggle to stay aloft with the actual Soar ability?
This is what throws many companies into bad waters. This is false advertising:
Soar into battle when you are not in combat and only every 5 mins! But still soar!
Supposedly there is an ability for Dracthyr that allow them too fly but we don’t have access to it as it seems to be a dev tool that was likely used in this trailer
There are Dracthyr flying around in the Dragon Isles, too 
It seems only our super special elite Evoker units are too fat to fly for long.
The devs obviously need to be fired.
All those aspect powers we’ve got must be weighing us down
Same way only Illidan can fly infinitely, because hes an npc.
The rumor mill says they were gonna give you guys a flight form similar to what Druids have, but you got Soarrrrrrrr instead.
Just miss the ground when you fall and you’ll keep flying.

In one of the original interviews after they revealed DF, the dev said Dracthyr are their mount.
They lost sight of the vision in place of giving us gimped dragon riding. All in spite of what the players have been asking for.
Come on devs… Just give us the ability to fly at 310% with our own wings, please!
Someone has never heard of a trailer or done the Dracthyr starter zone. There is a point in the starter zone where use “flight Points” and that portion is from one of those flight points.
I’m over here just wanting to be able to hide my visage’s transmog for my Draccy form. 
Flying should have been a racial, like running on all fours is for worgen.
Having a race with huge freaking wings fly on a mount looks sooooo dumb.
I thought those flight points were pretty nifty the way they made us fly too.
They dont have huge wings. There is no way in heck those tiny wings would be able to create enough lift to actualy fly.
Look at all animals that can fly and all dragons in game, Wings are roughly 1 and 1/2 times as long as their body. All birds that can fly in real life are at least 1 and 1/2 times that. Dracthyr just simply do not have the muscle mass or wing surface area to “Fly”.
I ride of cat made of stone that can fly. Take your real world comparisons out of here.
p.s. The above cat doesn’t have wings. Or muscles.
Who struggles to stay airborne with Soar? You can cross multiple zones with it with ease.
I’m fine with not having us be our own mounts, but I wouldn’t mind if they wanted to reduce Soar 1 more minute. It’s super fun to use and like double the speed of a fast flying mount.
+1 for flying for Dracthyr, its kinda silly they cant do it.
