Aw man, I was enjoying the lull between when the Negative Nancies got down on the show for not including all the things that they thought it wouldn’t include that it actually did, and slamming the timeline and the statuses of the different factions as being wildly inconsistent with the games and it wasn’t, and attacking Lucy as a Mary Sue “modern baadass female character” when she wasn’t, and the release of the show where it was really well received by fans of the game and non-fans alike.
I knew it wouldn’t take long for the talking points of CinemaSins-esque hypercriticality to get put back together to point out that the show and characters were bad, ackshually.
