Years after it’s launch.
Blizzard we need a Warcraft show, like it’s clear both Amazon and Netflix can cook just give it to them and Let them cook.

Same thing happened with Cyberpunk.
The key is that the show has to actually be good. If they make a show, it can’t be a Halo or Doom movie.
Fallout 76 sucks.
I heard speculation/rumor taht they’re doing another movie, but I’d love for a series. It’d be better for the build up and pacing… it’d be amazing. Also, we’d get people playing WoW which would be fun.
Also Fallout 76 is having a free week so that helps players counts
So there’s dozens of people playing instead of tens of people playing it?
To be fair, it has gotten better over the years, but yeah, it was a mess on release.
On steam it currently has 27K with the peak for the last 30 days at 39,434K…
That’s the highest numbers it has ever had on steam.
Blizzard could do the same thing. TV/Movie goes live, bam, games are free to play. Now you have that many players engaging with your products and hopefully creating healthier game environments.
Oh! they could do codes or something at the end of episodes to unlock transmogs. That would be fun.
Make it an anime inspired show with an equal balance of adventure, humor, and drama and it’s bound to do better then live action.
Seriously, how did Netflix strike gold with live action One Piece but fumble with Cowboy Bepop.
It doesn’t matter cooking won’t do it.
I think a series would work well if it focused on a band of five adventurers. Something similar in scope to the latest Dungeons and Dragons movie.
The characters could meet notable NPCs along their journey and have loads of fan service through community memes. It could be a simple series about the party forming to take on the Deadmines or something, it’s already a super iconic dungeon.
A self-contained story would fit well into a six - eight episode season format. It doesn’t need to be something on a grand scale like Arthas or Illidan.
That’s a 20% increase. They’ll take what they can get.
Wow I was trying to be cynical but it looks like I really wasn’t that far off.
See I find it kind of amusing that I’m originally from WV and I get all the crypted references etc
I gotta give Mothman credit, he’s been filling in pot holes better than the state does lol
Hey, you take that back. That’s a fun, turn-your-brain-off action movie.
I’m still angry that I paid to see that in the theater.
Actually I’ve been finding that new Fallout show boring TBF. I’ve had real issues trying to watch what I consider an exceptionally slow starting series. I mean I get they need to do world/character building, but it isn’t like we don’t know the world or setting… I’ve only been able to watch episode 2 in small doses because I just get brain rot trying to watch it.
They intentionally set it up to be appealing to a wider audience and not just fans. That is probably why it is so highly rated and has had such a big impact on the number of people playing the games.
The problem with a show like that or like one for WoW is that it kind of needs to be slow-starting otherwise it’s not really going to build enough information to bring in a wider audience. If they don’t go the character/world building route then it’s really just going to be for people that are already fans because nobody else can follow it.
