Yeah it’s just a rare spawn of a rare spawn haha and some people count the normal rare spawn as the TLPD when they shouldn’t.

Needless to say I had no help and got owned.
Lol same. It sort of was just near me, and I started fighting it. People started coming and helping. It died - and I got the Mount.
I was not looking for it or anything. I do not really camp spawns or achievement hunt.
It is pretty though. If it could fly, I would probably use it exclusively
No there is not and the reason I always criticize Blizzard for putting out a new mount every other week. Its getting stupid at this point… Instead of cool mogs we get flavor of the month mounts and for some reason people are good with it.

Fallen Charger is the worst example this expansion of the “Timeless Isle” model that Blizzard has been relying on more and more.
Things used to have a long respawn, OR they had a low drop rate.
Timeless Isle was all about “here are dozens and dozens of things with long respawns AND low drop rates”.
Which is awful. But people continue to praise Timeless Isle and its ilk, so Blizzard continues to design for it.
Fallen Charger, Soundless, Rustfeather, etc. etc. etc. They’re all Timeless Isle style content. And it’s awful.
(On the funny side of things, Fallen Charger DOES show the extraordinary lengths people will go to in order to get yet another horse mount…)
Rustfeather yes but these two no, especially Soundless.
There was not a single rare on Timeless Isle that dropped a mount but spawned in different places at random times. Huolon has a predictable timer of every 30 to 75 minutes he spawned in one set location.
As for the Fallen Charger, I’m not sure of his timer but I believe he spawns in the same place every time but not for the same invasion and then he runs around the Maw in a large path. However, his drop rate isn’t near as bad as Soundless’s drop rate.
Soundless has multiple spawn points, a 2 to 8 hour spawn timer and you are required to have flying in that zone to farm it effectively. I would rather kill Sha 8 thousand times than do another Soundless farm.
There’s more to collecting than mounts. Spineclaw Crab was a nightmare.
Sure but you listed three mount-dropping rares and we’re talking about rares that drop mounts.
