Fallen Charger Update

Yeah, and back in the day, only the first player to tag it got the mount.

It was sarcasm. I actually typed that out as well, but knew someone was going to be technical about it, so I got rid of it in my post.

Friend of mine killed it 36 times lmao.

in today’s era if they did that, no one would chase after those mounts to help a person get it…it would be a free for all finding it solo.

That’s exactly the way TLPD used to be. In addition, it was a rare spawn of a rare spawn, Vyragosa. And, mounts were not account wide in those days, either. If you wanted a certain toon to ride TLPD, you had to get it on that character. I was lucky enough to get it on my Warrior and DK after a lot of camping. One thing that helped was no CRZ back then, so the rare wouldn’t appear and then phase out. Lots of quality of life changes since then.

Took me 28. Wasn’t too bad honestly

I took around 40. There are a couple people on Wowhead comments saying over 100 but that would be absurdly unlucky.

Hello, do you hope we get more TLPD-like mounts in the future? I absolutely love them - they offer a sense of prestige while still being available for anyone who wants to go for it. You can also setup some nice combos with the mounts too depending on the mob that drops them. For example, on my hunter, I ride the Silent Glider and have two pets out: Soundless and Deepglider. It’s a “flex” but one anyone could do if they choose, and it gets some awesome whispers in the process

Great. So, can we talk about the decision to not allow this beautiful mount (and other great 9.1 mounts) to fly? I am currently pretty baffled that somehow, the magic that allows for the mounting and riding of giant, disembodied hands and “ghost” mounts doesn’t somehow also allow them the ability to fly.

EDIT: Sorry, didn’t mean to necro this…

I’d like to revive this topic for the suggestion of having this mount and its model counterparts to fly. Blanchy and the unicorn mounts can fly, why not these?

its been awhile this is the yellow one correct ? igot it my first time too i dont think it needed a100% .

if they can do this then they can increase the drop rate of the purple one from lfr mode .

Also they could make aeonax spawn thatd be great .

I’d prefer if Blanchy and the Courser mounts didn’t fly.

A valid opinion.

now do the same for nalaks mount so i can hang up my 60k+ kills and retire. i am sick and tired of going to the timeless isle every 20 weeks on 200+ characters to get 20 mogu runes of fate for bonus rolls. i have so many toons and so many kills on galleon, sha of anger and oondasta that i got all their mounts within 2 months of their releases. but nalaks must be bugged out or something.

My guy. No one sane tries to farm MoP WB’s. Its easier to grind the 6-7mill per mount and buy them off the BMAH.

i guess we are all insane lol. it takes me on average 2-3 days to get in all my kills. 6 toons at a time 6 accounts per 15 min respawn lol. go to nalak on a tuesday and see the 100+ insane people every 15 mins respawn.

there is more people at a nalak kill on a tuesday then there is at the vault.

and yet i have still spent about 30 hours across my 3 day weekend, on 2 simultaneous running accounts, every weekend since the update. and still no drop for me. lol.

That’s big sad. I’ve only killed it once, on accident, and got it. It wandered into a pack of covenant assault mobs I was fighting and I didn’t even notice it was in there until everything else died and it was still 80%.
