Hi,

I’m trying to solo Fallen Avatar Mythic and from what I see on youtube, it should be pretty doeable, but when I do it, the platforms are going down much faster then in the videos. Is it bugged?

Are you soaking his Rain of the Destroyer casts? Any that don’t get soaked will destroy the block they land on. You obviously can’t do them all solo but depending on how much faster you’re running out that could be it.

I’d suggest doing this sort with a group, grab a friend or two and it should be very much dead before you run out of floor but still need a bit of control of the mechanics to avoid it going away too early.

helps if you say what raids its in. with the 100’s we got its easy to forget what boss is in what raid.

so its in tomb of sarg. that lots been soloable for ages. i know i was soloing it in bfa. you just ganna stand in the lazer line p1 then pull him to the edges p2 so he dosnt rek the floor

best to say it in both spots. people read the heading in the forum log then forget what it said when reading the “real post”, lol :smiley:

but as i and others said, hes easy. as a pally you should have no problems. it all comes down to placement. the skip also helps make it a faster treck to him, being only 1 other boss before him

Title literally says the raid and boss name lmao. Can’t get much more specific than that

I guess there’s something I’m not getting. Even with a perfect phase 1, I cannot get him lower then 50% in phase 2. I’m ilvl 230.

I was doing phase 1 all wrong, you guys were right, it was pretty easy… Thanks a lot !

I was blocking the green beem correctly, but I wasn’t killing the Maiden before getting the boss to 30%. So basically :

  1. Block the green beam while dpsing the boss down to ~38%
  2. Continue blocking the green beam while killing the maiden
  3. DPS the boss down until phase 2
  4. Kill the boss with plenty of time remaining

Blizzard wants you to do Korthia/SoD/M+ to get high enough ilvl to solo 5+ year-old-content-legion raids, especially on mythic.

It doesn’t make sense to us, either…
I guess the Blizzard shills seem to think everything is happy fun times, though. lmaoo

That’s the sad part. I wanted to do mythic Legion transmog runs with my DK, but his ilvl is only 179. If I wanted to do that, I’d have to gear him like you said, which I probably won’t do…

Yep, it sucks big time, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to change any time soon.
So, until next xpac I’m just ignoring legion+ xmogs. :pensive: :pensive:

And to make it worse, have to wait until the xpac AFTER the next to do BFA xmogs… :unamused: :unamused:

try rerolling to a moose class so you can play as a moose

you’ll have no issues then
