They should be warned with suspensions. And if they keep getting suspended, then banned. But who is going to moderate that.
The “Trolls” are a species of gamer who HATES the game. They spew hate in all their posts, to players and to the game, and especially at the gaming company. They often no longer play the game. They are a drain on the sanity of people who actually would like to use the forums to further their game knowledge, share good ideas, seriously discuss issues, and enjoy kinship with other people who appreciate the game.
Trolls derive their enjoyment out of starting Sh*t.
Blizzard already has trolling as a bannable offense. They could easily expand their CMs managing the forum discipline system and start smacking people down harder for making troll posts/threads.
The biggest meme isn’t even the copium that it’s all Afrasabi’s fault, rather it’s the fact that people think the Shadowlands/Jailer storyline set to continue and replace it is actually good.
And for that matter burning of the tree was a welcome event to the usual disneyesque stories and it was good to see incredibly consequential events in the game.
Sylvanas standing in front of a burning tree did make a pretty gif but it should have never happened.
I was just there on my tauren getting ancestor coins and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia. I’ve always loved Darnassus. Great music, great colors, great buildings even after 17 years.
I think they should have bent the rules of reality just a bit and just made the faction leaders and cities unkillable. They’re our starting points and who we rally to in an RP sense. Blizzard should have just owned it and said “Yeah the faction leaders have plot armor. Fite me.”
There must always be a lich king was first said by Terenas, and specifically so the Scourge/Undead is held in check and don’t rampage over Azeroth.
It is entirely possible while we are hopping around the Shadowlands that Azeroth has been having dire repercussions of the said Scourge rampaging over Azeroth (the pre-launch event multiplied many times over), and we will see the results of that when we finally ‘get back home’ officially in the next expansion.
I think the pre-launch even was supposed to be us killing their leaders and putting a serious dent into their army, leaving us free to take care of what’s going on in SL.
I was wondering about this myself. We saw some aimless attacks by the scourge at the beginning of SL up in IceCrown but it seems like there would be a ton more.
