bro it’s just 1 dungeon. Just do it on normal mode, it’s not like it’s asking you to run it on mythic specifically

Everyone here is asuming there is (or should be) a standard, model type of player. There isn’t and there will never be. There are a wide range of skills in the hardware used for playing in groups as opposed to soloing. It’s also ignored accesibility issues. Oh, wanna dump that population away? Then there’s the real issue.

I can guarantee you this is far from over. Because it’s not missions and quests in general that we’re talking about. And this topic isn’t new.
This is all completely irrelevant for a normal mode dungeon. Can your character walk forward and occasionally press 1 ability on your action bar? Congrats, you can do a normal dungeon.
Normals mostly consist of a tank who can solo the whole thing and 4 other people following along.

I’m gonna put myself out here on this open internet forum and expose my personal self at great potential risk. I have severe “social anxiety” called agoraphobia with panic disorder, along with a multitude of other MH issues That means I have an extreme fear of people, crowds, and places i cannot escape from to the point where I don’t leave the house alone, if i don’t find a reason to just not leave at all. I take around 9 medications a day just to function on a reasonable level. The severity is so bad that I’m on SSDI and have been for 20 years. Thats how severe my condition is. But you see here, what im doing, right now? I’m conversing on an internet forum, admittedly shaking and irrationally terrified as I do (thank god for Ativan). Im the GM of a guild. I get on discord daily. I have friends. I’ve been married 25 years and have a teenage son. And even with how severe my MH is I still play this game. So please stop concern trolling and acting like you have 1 single iota of an idea what people with social anxiety do and don’t do or what they are forced into doing. It’s 100% different for everyone. Just because your friend can’t do quests out of fear doesn’t mean that applies to everyone or makes them instantly super casual.

Blizzard isn’t forcing players into dungeons. They can just skip when they don’t want to do stuff.
But you did sign up to play a multiplayer game and now you’re railing it not having enough solo options for your liking.
Sir this FPS has way too much violence! I’m going to need you stop forcing gun violence on players and institute a hug only game mode!

when i got the quest i was like “oh look its a dungeon this time, bummer”.
but tbh it was faster and more straight forward than a chain quest 
auto-queue, follow tank till its done. super quick. everyone had to do it so the queue was fast and ppl were OP in there. think it was simpler than a quest wouldve been tbh… didnt even have to leave valdrakken lol

You already got 3 and you can only equip 2. It won’t kill you to skip a week.
Also, it’s a normal dungeon, so…yeah…

wdym? you can equip more than 2 crafted pieces. its embellishments that are limited to two. unless im missing something… i got 4 sparks of ingenuity crafted gear on my toon right now. but only 2 with embellishments ofc.

Just actually read through this whole thread and the level of ignorance, random cherry-picked data, and only 25% people defending this person’s position. So, in answer to your question. By the middle of an expac it’s pretty much 50/50 arguing about this subject which tells me guess what? the Solo’s are playing, - not here after blasting through content, and bent on enjoying being down right nasty to someone. Of course opinion, no facts - and the facts that get thrown around this forum are ridiculous as nothing can be proven true, not even some all powerful streamer.
It’s not a few people. Blizz has a rep of if we give them an inch they take a mile in taking fun out for metrics. One dungeon … for now.
The thing is I’ve got the social, super, panic in a dungeon - even normals. I try them on my main every so often to see if I can just push through. The only time I can get through is at the very beginning of an expac. I’ll do them if I have to and usually have to get off the game right after for awhile.
This is a regurgitated rebuttal that has been used so often, and is so old it’s lost its punch.
Maria - just thought I’d say agreed to everything you said, figured if I hearted one more thing I ought to say something - I’d like to say I’m amazed at how so many misinterpreted or responded ignorantly to what you expressed, but not.
And btw, to the FF people mentions of dungeons - it’s the first place I learned confidence playing a dungeon. I can run almost any of them and just want to get better. Now tell me people - is it the WoW dungeon game or the people playing it?
Oh, I guess if you are going to equip like full crafted pieces you will need more. MB.

I’ve never dungeoned/raided, but I recently said, what the hell, just do this and get it over with. What helped was, even though I main Vengeance DH, I went in as Havoc so that I didn’t have to deal with tank headaches.
Bonus: the leader was a VDH, so I got to observe how e handled the instance.
It’s regurgitated because it’s 100% true no matter how much you dislike the answer.
What happens when people want those Pathfinder games by Owlcat to have multi-player options?
They are told : “don’t ruin a single player game by making it multi-player.”
One of these days you’ll learn just because you want something doesn’t mean it should be done.
